The BEST game of the decade

Though the decade really ends 2011 (you cant climb up a staircase from the first floor to the tenth floor and say you climbed ten stories) no one cares. What was the BEST game of the decade. For me it was Shadow of the Colossus or Portal.

Hmm, a toughy. But here goes!
Dragon Age: Origins, Team Fortress 2, Mass Effect, Portal, Half Life(Series)and Borderlands. In no particular order. WoW gets an honourable mention, but the former are the games I think I got the most fun out of, of this decade!

I'd give the nod to either Halo 2 or Call of Duty 4. Honorable mentions to Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and Mass Effect.

I with this guy, Basically it's the best game of my current life, the game I've spent most time on is COD 4.

My favourite though is probably Halo CE, had the most fun with it and pretty much brought me into gaming.

ummm, the noughties began in 2000, so...

But as for best game of the decade, I'd have to say...

Morrowind. The story was so mysterious yet so invigorating, the atmosphere of the game was perfect and made you feel like you were actually in a shaky, uncertain fantasy land. Hell, the only bad things would be the combat and character animations, and the former could be overcome just by leveling a bit. I don't think anybody can argue with me that it was at the very least an awesome game.

By best I mean the game you like the most out of what you've played this decade. Thinking back I would change mine to Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced (that came out this decade right?) or Pokemon Colosseum. Totally one of the best pokemon games.

By best I mean the game you like the most out of what you've played this decade. Thinking back I would change mine to Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced (that came out this decade right?) or Pokemon Colosseum. Totally one of the best pokemon games.

In that case I would have to go with Kingdom Hearts... Or Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath... Or the Jak and Daxter series. Hm, I can't decide between those.

I'd have to say . . . a three-way tie between Shadow of the Colossus, Lost Odyssey, or Demon's Souls. Maybe also Final Fantasy X-2 (I know lots of people hated it, but come on, it's still Final Fantasy!) and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess . . . the list goes on and on.

Deus Ex it mixed 2 of my favorite things cyberpunk and the freedom to kill anyone u don't like... except Jock but he dies anyway... not to mention it's incredible story and choice system which is more or less perceived as good or evil by the player rather than the game...

I'd have to go with Half Life 2 as number one... TF2 at 2, WoW a strong 3, Portal at 4, and I think it was this decade, Morrowind, just for the hours and hours and hour upon hours upon more hours, covered in hour sauce with a hours cherry I logged in that game.

Also worth a mention is Bioshock, but I still won't go with it beating these big name games. Also award for under appreciated game, and is 6 on my list is Pyschonauts. I found that at a Gamestop for $5 the other day, and I still love it like it just came out.
