Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars.

Point and click. PC, GBA, and very recently, DS.

From the makers of Beneath a Steel Sky, and the Lure of the Tempress.

Future Cop:LAPD
A nifty little game where you play a police mech that transforms into a hovercar.
Plus, I still have not found a multiplayer experience like it.

I loved Nox, but I only know one other guy who's even heard of it.
I only ever played the demo, and loved it.

For me, it has to be Shadowflare (very similar game to Diablo...and NOX) and Haegemonia: Legions of Iron

Edit:

It's hardly unknown; they made three sequels.

Okay, you're right. Though those sequels were not really advertised, as far as I know.
And it's not been the same since 1 and 2...

M.U.L.E. Old turn-based strategy game for the Atari 800 where you attempt to colonize another planet; I seem to be the only one who remembers is.

Get your hovertanks into the enemy base and send him home crying like a baby!
Bases. Tanks. Points. Crying. Beautiful.

Also, Jade Cocoon 1 & 2. Both are among my top ten RPGs.

I'm surprised Touhou is yet to be mentioned. For those who don't know, it's a top-down vertical shooter with emphasis on dodging bullets more than anything. Hard, and nearly uncompletable even just on Normal modes, but they're still fun and rewarding games with excellent music and artwork. It gets my vote for an awesome game that not many people have played.

C-12: Final Resistance.

Did anyone actually play this game?
Played the demo. PS1 gaming was dying out by the time it was released though so I never found a copy in shops. Seemed like an awesome game though.

Medieval, that game was so very awesome but noone I've met besides my brother knows about it =(
SIR Daniel Fortesque! Yeah that game was pretty class. I cheated to get all the weapons and Chalices, then I felt bad and got them the honest way straight after completing it!

I have a special place in my heart for Rayman 2 and Team Buddies (Anyone).
Also legend of the Mystical ninja for the super nintendo??

I fucking love Touhou. I have everything up to and including Imperishable Night, and it's the reason I bought a wired 360 controller (works great with a gamepad).

Vagrant Story

Also, there are very few games in this thread that I haven't played. Croc kicked arse.

I'll chip in again with Silent Bomber. It's a great PS1 action game where your character has these bomb-launcher things attached to his arms, and attacks by attaching bombs to enemies and detonating them.

Fuck yes, Touhou is awesome.

I will agree that the music in the Touhou games are amazing, most notably pieces such as Native Faith which are so complicated that they're practically impossible to play on a real piano (ZUN himself called it "piano hell"). The artwork, however, is ummmm...

Osu!

It's like Elite Beat Agents, but played with a mouse, and with way more songs. Also, it's free.

Warlords: Battlecry 3, the only RTS that is so entertainingly bad it is awesome. But what really makes it special is that it allows you to build everything right from the get go.

Alas no one shall feel its power except me and my brother.
