I'm glad someone else has heard of this little gem. Me and my friend used to play it all the time. Never completed it unfortunatelydekkarax said:Future Cop:LAPD
A nifty little game where you play a police mech that transforms into a hovercar.
Plus, I still have not found a multiplayer experience like it.
Im sorry but you obviously havent played blitzkrieg II(i think) its like its long lost granddad,so rare you barely see it in video, but people still play it onlineEmphraim said:Company of Heroes.
One of the greatest and most unique RTS games ever made. Got great review scores and IGN has just recently put it on their list of best PC games.
Yet no one has ever heard of it.![]()
Seems to prove that if you don't market your game a lot, it will fail no matter how good it is.
Being a huge fan of Deus Ex, i have to repsectfully disagree. To be pedantic, the game was pretty popular in the day and is still often thought of as one of the best PC games ever. I do agree though that it's sad that it's no-one gives it much attention anymore.KurtisStryker said:Though it has a following I would have to go with Deus Ex. Literally no one I talk to has ever heard of the game
What a shame
Hells Yeah! I have never met anyone who has played Heavy Gear 2. I bought this game for 8 bucks in a bargain bin at KB Toys, and wow what a great purchase that turned out to be! Possibly the first game that I played online.Fritzvalt said:This thread brings back memories.

Wasteland wasn't related to Fallout in any way except that Interplay wanted to expand on the idea of the nuclear wasteland setting.Void(null) said:Wasteland [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasteland_%28video_game%29]
Fallout was an Unofficial Sequel to Wasteland. Known amongst hardcore Fallout fans and thats about it.

The first Space Sim, and was based off the Traveler universe
Dune II: Battle for Arrakis [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_II]
A little known game that invented the RTS genre as we know it today, Blizzard borrowed HEAVILY from Westwood studios Battle for Arrakis, when they created Warcraft.
While not an entirely "unknown" game, its importance is often understated because it was a licensed title.
Dreamweb [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamweb]
Banned in several country's, Dreamweb was one of the first games to treat its players like adults. With themes of sex, violence, murder and morality, interwoven into a complex and detailed plot that truly challenged its players perception of good and evil, with a truly shocking ending.
I've heard of it lots and everyone keeps giving it great reviews and commending it on such greatness yet it still has never appealed to me, don't know why.Emphraim said:Company of Heroes.

I have that. its good. Mine would be Knytt Stories, a freeware game. There's a large custom level community but drop it into conversation and no one has a clue.DannyBoy451 said:C-12: Final Resistance.
Did anyone actually play this game?
