The Best Plot Twist in Gaming.

In Gaming there have been a lot of amazing Plot twist and also a lot of cliche boring ones.

I'd appreciate if you use the spoiler tab option. (Ironic since I don't know how to do it)

My favourite of a recent game would have to be inFAMOUS near the end when you learn that Kessler is actually Cole from an alternate future. (Though I suspected it still made me drop my jaw)

and also to mention Call of Duty 4 plot twist when Captain Price shoots Al Asad right after hearing from Zakheav on the phone. (not sure if this is a plot twist but definitely makes you re think who the true villain is)

I'm going to have to go with something from Halo 3. Mostly because I just played that part of it today, and when I played it first it was during a marathon Halo 1, 2, 3 run after I bought Halo 3.

When you're at the Ark and the new Halo ring pops up and the Flood is everywhere. Arbiter and Spark are talking about the ring, and Arbiter asks Chief what the plan is and the Chief is just like, "Light it."

You are trapped in a haunted house, and the only way out is to bring the psycho-cannibal in the attic a specific boy for him to eat. Turns out that you are the boy, and the whole game is you being stuck in a hell where you have to repeatedly witness your failure to save your own soul.

Back when MGS was relatively new, I heard a bunch of plot details about the game before I got it, like Solid and Liquid being brothers, and Master Miller being Liquid in disguise, but I was suprised by the revelations about Fox-Die and the "Les Enfants Terribles" project. I was especialy shocked by the Patriots reveal and the S3 plan in MGS2. Just about every other twist in the MGS series counts too.
Also, I liked the twist ending of Crackdown.

But BioShock beats them all. God damn that was well done and interesting.

System Shock 2. Seriously, go play that game and then tell me that Bioshock is half the game you thought it was. Also, the twist is the same but much better executed and far superior to the one in Bioshock.
