It's small, so everything's nearby. Fast food, library, Walmart, schools, etc. Some things are too far to walk, but are close when you drive.

Unfortunately, that doesn't override the downsides of my racist, violent town that has the worst drivers you can find.

Oh, I know.
Fight Klub at K.Nal
De Valera's (Irish bar)
O'Reillys (Irish bar)
Delerium (Has 150< beers)
Floris bar (Absinthe ranging from 40% to 85%)

Some other stuff as well, but those are the most notable.

Ahh NYC... I had to leave the City a couple years ago for job reasons, but fuck me 6 ways from Wednesday if I don't miss living there. Being able to get cuisine from any part of the world you can imagine, the wealth of cultural activities, markets that actually have interesting items from across the globe, 24hr parties of debauchery, the diversity of it's people, being able to hear 7 different languages walking down one city block, the music... the list is endless.

I live in DC now and... well...

Ab. so. lu. tely NOTHING!!!

It's a tiny village full of old people, chavs/trailer trash and religious extremists. There is absolutely nothing enjoyable here whatsoever. Literally.
Do you happen to live in PA? Sounds exactly like my little town.

Well besides me! I'm enjoyable : )

Yesterday I saw a fawn about ten feet away though. It was really cute. Does this count?

Nothing. ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING!

Good shops: none
decent people: less than 10 i can name.
Interesting things: my school is the 8th most violent in scotland. fun! and our power station is one of the most polluting in the UK if i remember right.
Cool history: the english department in my school got bombed by the nazis in WW2, that's it.

Everyone is racist and has drugs pouring out of every orifice (I think that's how you spell it) and half the time there is some sort of mysterious smell of fish in the air.

so yeah, wonderful place. Great in the summer, come visit sometime and you'll never take human kindness for granted ever again.

The people. Seriously, they are the nicest, most open minded people you can find.

It's also very liberal, which I find kind of a plus. I wish no offense to the conservative people who are posting.

BTW the town is Lawrence, KS.

The county show. They are basically overblown farmer shows that became all town shows with bottle stalls and burgers and ice cream and cute animals. Awesome. Yay for Orkney.

Eh, I live outside a small town called Louisburg. I like the roads, they're good for driving I guess? I don't head into town that often.

Well, the houses are nice, it's pretty historic, and there's a famous boarding school where George W. Bush was a cheerleader (yay?). Other than that, however, it's just a boring suburb.

No best thing, Harpenden sucks, nothing to do and no interesting shops. The only good thing is you can take a train to London, or go to St.Albans.

My city recently ranked as the most uneducated city in the United States, and it is close to the 2nd and 3rd most uneducated cities. We also have the 2nd worst air quality in the United States. My city is an absolute shit hole. But if I have to say something positive, I guess it's nice being close to the beach, and the mountains. Can you guess where I live?

No, the hooves hurt their throats. Willy only ate Bambi because he called him a Killer Whale.

And I must congratulate you for using the more politically correct term, Orca. Killer Whale is very offensive.

El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de los Angeles de Porciuncula?
If so, I'm like 1-4 hours away from you, depending on the time of day...
