After seeing that the scavenging was done, Bridget kneeled down beside the outcast's bodies and frowned.
"Which way do the beasts cut?" she asked, unsheathing her sword and laying it on the bodies.
Make it look like the infected did it

 

[Amzer]

"I guess they just swipe...But be sure that you mask the bullet holes...They are a dead give away."
Wolfe looked up, walked over to Bridget, and kneeled down next to her.
Why is she remaining? There isn't much of a reason too, unless she thinks her brother might not be able to find her if she leaves...Whenever he decides to come back...If he decides to come back...Or even if he is alive...

She nodded and took the sword up before slashing off both heads and cutting a large hole in the torso. Wiping the blood around the bodies she smiled and thought it looked good.
"All better" she said before looking from Wolfe to Jaden.

 

[Amzer]

"Nice handiwork..."
Wolfe still couldn't get it.
And the kid? How'd he find this place? Just followed the gunshots? What lead him here? Why is he here?

Bridget smiled and shrugged.
"I've had a lot of practice" she joked before looking to Jaden.
"No one saw you come here right?"

 

[Mr Thin]

Armed as he was, Jaden felt better equipped to handle his situation. Namely, the situation of being in the middle of a city full of monsters, and no real idea of where to go.

"No, no one saw me. But the two of you aren't very subtle. If I can find you, others can find you. And right now, 'others' seem to be equipped with impressive weaponry that far outstrips ours. Perhaps it would be appropriate to relocate ourselves? If not, I suggest reinforcement of this building's defenses, and fast."

 

[Amzer]

Trouble always seems to follow, doesn't it?
"Well, I did suggest hiding, and letting them pass, but I suppose I just got here, I might aswell relocate soon, anyways." Wolfe looked about the building...
I'll take some of the fuses...Not all, but some...On my way out.

Bridget grabbed his arm.
"Where will you be going" she asked frantically.
Don't go too far...

 

[Amzer]

"Somewhere nearby. I'll look for a hotel...Possibility of food, a bed, and a place to lock myself up in. Let me tell ya, sleeping on the floor sucks..." Wolfe looked out through the windows...
Eventually I will head out of this city.

"Tell me where you're going so I can go to you..." she begged him, looking into his eyes.
What if he leaves all the way out? What if he just runs and then...

 

[Amzer]

"I'll remain close, don't worry. I don't know the exact location yet...I still have to find the place." Wolfe reassured her.
If she stayed with me, she would know where I was going. I know what I'm doing. Where I'm going...Well...Eventually going...

 

[Mr Thin]

Jaden watched the drama unfolding before his eyes.

He didn't need this. Relationships seemed incredibly dangerous. Besides, he had other plans.

"Wherever either of you decide to go, I shall not follow; I have a goal of my own beyond mere survival, and I intend to see this goal achieved."

So saying, he shouldered his gear and began walking down the street in the direction the dead men had come from. As he left, he spoke over his shoulder.

"Best of luck to you both. It was nice meeting you."

Bridget gave Wolfe one last look and ran after Jaden, grabbing his arm when she caught up.
"Where you going?" she asked politely, wondering what this goal was.

 

[Amzer]

Wolfe simply watched as she ran after Jaden.
I could just tell her that if she stayed with me, she would know where I was going...But of course Dan would look for her if he noticed she had seemingly disappeared.

 

[Mr Thin]

Jaden slowed his steps; he didn't particularly feel like sharing, but he had no reason not to.

"My parents left me when I was quite young. I believe them dead, but I want to find out for myself. And if they aren't, I expect them to answer for what they have done."

He then looked pointedly at the body of a monster lying in the street.

"Also, for a problem as severe as this 'monster plague', there must be someone attempting to find a cure. I believe my time could best be spent with them... or at least looking for them. Survival is simply not enough. I must have purpose."

Removing Bridget's hand from his arm, he started walking again.

"I need to look for my brother. They could've gone to the same place" she shouted after him, not wanting to follow him farther anymore.
What if he's captured by the outcasts?

 

[Mr Thin]

Jaden considered her words as he walked. There was something to what she said; assuming his parents hadn't been torn limb from limb five minutes out of the bunker, there couldn't be many safe locations near this city.

Still, Bridget would no doubt be happier with Wolfe or Dan; and they would be happier with her.

Promising himself to keep an eye out for her brother, he kept moving.

 

[Amzer]

Wolfe decided to go after Bridget...
"You can't convince him to turn around...The kid doesn't believe in relationships at this time, or so it seems. We might as well just stick to survival, and hope your brother turns up sooner or later...Sooner would be better." Wolfe stood as she stood.
Mhmm, so it's a regular separation. All caused by Dan. Yesterday.

Bridget sighed and tried to think of a way to make him stay. Knowing he didn't feel empathy and any emotions really she gave up.
"If you find him, come find me and make sure he's safe. If he's dead...bring his body back to me please. Infected or not" she called after him, pleading. She bowed her head and turned to Wolfe.
"Looks like it's just me, you and Dan again" she mumbled.

 

[Amzer]

Not Dan. Not again. He's going to have to deal with losing Bridget, or Bridget is going to have to stick with him...
"Bridget...I'm sorry, but if Dan sees us talking again, He'll be angered. More specifically, angry at me. You're going to have to choose between the two of us. Either you stay here with him, or you come with me and we leave city together. Either way, I plan to be outside of the city limits within the next week. I'm sorry for putting this pressure on you..." Wolfe looked at Bridget, now.
