It's debatable, with dragon age, I played as a sword and shield warrior, but got irritated by the fact that every time I wanted to attack a dude, I had to saunter up to them, circle them for a while until I found a proper attack angle, and then start actually attacking. I eventually made an archer and really liked that. For DA2, though, they fixed the combat so it's less slow paced, and I'll probably start off by playing a 2 handed sword warrior, and after that try some kind of mage.
DAE have trouble clicking opponents in the demo? I had to pause most of the time to target a new enemy because everyone runs around so much, especially when there are 30 hurlocks all running from target to target. I actually kind of like it because the combat is actually hectic and fast paced.
