Just picked up a Radeon HD 6850, for which I spent $160 US dollars. More than adequate for my needs (I can run The Witcher 2 somewhere between High/Ultra settings with a little tweaking and the framerate is great).
It was about 100? when I bought it, which is over a year ago. 512 mb ram and the next in the series got a full gigabyte of ram.Bajinga said:Hmm... I might think about buying this. There's one for £60.00, which doesn't sound bad at all, that is, if you are giving the right description.Vellu said:ATI HD4770, about 100? and still runs most games on the highest settings smoothly.
AKA. Well bought.
MolotoK said:Well the CPU isn't terrible but to be quite honest, I don't understand why - if you are buying a new PC for games - you wouldn't buy an i series, specifically an i7 - the 920 is pretty cheap and a great little processor.Bajinga said:I'll just quote it.wordsmith said:When you say 2.9GHz processor, what are you running? Dual, Quad, i series?
"AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 245 Processor 2.90GHz"
I'm assuming from the two's that it is a dual.
Crank that shit man.PreviouslyPwned said:3dfx Voodoo 2. Runs minesweeper like a boss!
