When you say 2.9GHz processor, what are you running? Dual, Quad, i series?
I'll just quote it.
"AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 245 Processor 2.90GHz"

I'm assuming from the two's that it is a dual.
Well the CPU isn't terrible but to be quite honest, I don't understand why - if you are buying a new PC for games - you wouldn't buy an i series, specifically an i7 - the 920 is pretty cheap and a great little processor.
Buying an i7-920 right now is insane. The much cheaper Sandy Bridge i5-2500k will blow it out of the water and has more overclocking potential. (those new Sandy Bridge CPUs can be overclocked beyond 4.5GHz)

At the lower end of the spectrum AMD makes much more sense..... not just that particular one.
The Athlon II x2 245 was a low-end CPU even when it was introduced 2 years ago and now it retails for less than 50 bucks.
It's barely faster than what current PC games list as minimum system requirements. U can still play most current games on it at low details, but that's about it.

I bought my ATI 4870 1GB a year and a half ago for $162 if you include shipping. A very nice card, aside from it scaring me with how hot it can get. Upgraded from a 4500ish card that I got for free (sold that for $40 on craigslist). So, in a way, I paid $122 USD for it :)

Right, (First thing is first, this thread has had 3 pages of responses and I don't want any more than one reply)
I want Dragon Age: Origins. Will I be able to run it on my PC with the specs that I have?
(I have updated the specs on the main post)
