So yeah, spoilers ahead. As a courtesy, I'll still put them in tags, so read at your own peril.
I thought two of the easter eggs were rather clever.

The first one was Bane's reference to Red Hood. When he attacked the stock exchange he wore a red helmet and motorcycle gear, just like Jason Todd. Pretty sneaky for people not in on the know,

The second one was more of a blink and you'll miss it. The Gotham City football team is called the Rogues.

Rogues Gallery. Haha.

This one isn't really an easter egg, but John Blake, sounds a lot like Tim Drake, don't ya think?

Anyways, those are the two I caught. Anyone catch some others?
2 of the 3000 coppers conversing, pig 1 "u think the bats coming back?" pig 2 "yes" p1 "y" p2 "flipped a coin"... nice touch on the red hood, i was thinkin it'd take a lot of work for bane to make a helmet to fit his mask, so yeah i dont think its a stretch if such a dull colored character would do such a thing

like blake said, no such thing as coincidence

I'm sorry, but you honestly think Joker would have stayed locked up for 8 years?

On topic, i loved the Killer Croc reference
Well obviously he'd escape, but he always winds back in arkham, either that or seeing as its a more realistic universe he got the needle.

But the "joker blogs" channel on youtube is apperently leading up to the dark knight rises and before you say its not an official thing, its as official as it can get because months before the dark knight rises came out the creator of the channel met with nolan and read some of the script for the movie...so thats preety cool.

According to my sister - located somewhere in the football stadium scene as she watched the Gotham Steelers Rogues game - when Bane's men originally came, the people of Pittsburgh Gotham went up in arms to fight them off. This being a MASSIVE blooper, I will be very disappointed if mention of this isn't in the DVD release.

Not sure why no one has mentioned this yet, but when Bruce and Alfred were looking at computer trying to figure out how Catwoman was, the mugshot of Anne Hataway was the same as Adam Hughes cover to Catwaon #51. Also on the screen was an image of a newspaper and an article on the bottom read "man seen flying".... Superman reference??

Actually Tim Drake wasn't an orphan until after Identity Crisis. He just joined Batman because he thought that Batman could use a more humanizing influence.

After Gotham goes to shit, Selena Kyle and her friend are in a building, and she picks up a photo and looks at it.

Ra's al Ghul is there in the back of the photo.

Not sure if it's an easter egg, or what.

Just saw the movie. It was pretty spectacular. Anyway, the only easter egg I noticed has already been pointed out multiple times. The reference to Killer Croc.

I remember reading at the end of the Emperor Joker storyline years ago that they moved the Joker to a prison named 'The Slab' in NYC so as not to stir up the other inmates at Arkham Asylum. Although the absence of any mention of his character whatsoever could be out of respect to Heath Ledger and his performance...

I'm surprised that no one thought of the ending as an Easter Egg when...
...He latches the bomb to the BatWing and makes a break for the bay. I thought it was a reference to the famously campy Adam West Batman scene. [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Au0wasRm230[/link]

The Scarecrow being back and helping Bane, with the pieces of straw sticking out of his suit, was a nice touch.

Also, not really an Easter egg, but did anyone else notice that the dude who captures Bane at the very beginning without realising it was Littlefinger from Game of Thrones?

The Killer Croc reference was great too.
I'm sad because I just know that if Heath Ledger were still around, Nolan would have had him be the judge of that courtroom
God, thematically that did annoy me, the entire time I'm wondering how Joker would of reacted to Bane's plan.

It was great seeing Crane again.
He is possibly the best guy for the role of Scarecrow, so glad they got him in BB.

OT: don't even know why i'm here, not even seen the film yet and im seeing it 2morrow, meh, don't really care much for spoilers xD

I'll come back 2morrow if i notice any xD

EDIT: How can they leave an ending like that, seriously!?!?!?!

The only Easter egg i noticed was the thing about Killer Croc, well the reference to him anyway, other than that, nothing.

I can't believe they left the trilogy like that! however it could easily open up into the Justice League, so maybe that is what they are planning.
How can they leave the trilogy like that?
The good guy wins, then retires, to spend the remainder of his life happy and away from danger, a fate well-earned
But, he passes on the mantle of Batman to someone else, meaning that while Bruce Wayne is "dead", the legend of Batman can live on and the people of Gotham can be protected for years to come

That was the PERFECT ending

And come on? A justice league? Every DC movie except Nolan's Batman trilogy has been a pile of horse shit, making a justice league movie out of that mess would be a colossal mistake

Also I was saying Scarecrow "could" be in the movie He helped Ra's Al Ghul in the first movie and so they both we're in the "League of Shadows" meaning as long as it was possible for Scarecrow to be free at the time he could help out Bane and Talia two other Members of the L.o.S. alot of other people have been saying it would of been better to have had Joker wielding the gavel even though he wouldn't likely want/like to work for/with Batman.
I'm not sure why there's any real confusion of Crane in TDKR. He was clearly captured, and likely in prison after the early scene in The Dark Knight. He was likely still in prison during TDKR until Bane blew it up. Then either Bane or Crane himself decided to make him the judge, which isn't a huge leap when the inmates are running the asylum so to speak.

And I never got the impression he was an actual member of the League of Shadows in Begins. More that he was a man in a position to help them towards their goals, and was easily bought by providing him the compounds to make the fear inducing compound more potent, and letting him do whatever sort of lunatic experiments he wanted on the inmates at Arkham. I never got the sense that he was a true believer in Ra's goal, though I have no doubt he'd love to see all of Gotham gripped by fear and panic.

Nah he would have found something else for the joker cause the joker being the judge wouldnt make sense for that. If you ask me i dont think the joker would have gotten along with bane at all which is why i have the theory that the reason the joker isnt in this is cause bane killed the joker so he wouldnt cause trouble.

I agree with you on the joker bit. Bane's plan depended on organization, to add a volatile mixture like the Joker to that would probably fuck things up. He likely had him killed to prevent this.

Tim drake was not an orphan. You're thinking of dick Grayson.
Actually Tim Drake is an orphan he just didn't first appear as one. His father was killed in Brad Meltzer's Identity Crisis.

Any one else ever notice that the only other place before the first film that the league of assassins is called shadows is in the Batman the Animated series episode that introduces Talia

the omniscience of Bane and the chaos of the Joker. That would be an unstoppable force against an immovable object.

Well, Ra's as Gul appearance was kind of an Easter Egg, wasn't it? I was surprised to see him!

Can someone fill me in on the line Movie Bob mentioned taken directly from Kingdom Come?
When Batman is with Selina Kyle, and he looks away for a half second and she's gone.

"Huh, so that's what that feels like."

Replace Selina Kyle with Superman and it is the scene from Kingdom Come.
I loved this scene. Everyone in the theater laughed but I knew that only a handful of viewers shared the reference with me. It could not be anything but a direct call back to the best line in Kingdom Come.

Second "easter egg" that I am surprised hasn't been addressed yet is the love-interest/sexual-interest between Bruce and Talia. There were a number of thematic reasons for Bruce to sleep with Talia...
but given that that Rising was the conclusion of the Nolan run it still strikes me as a fanboy reference to the fact that Talia gives birth to Bruce's only(?) son. Damian Wayne then grows up to become Robin when Dick Grayson takes up the mantle of Batman. If the Nolan movies were to continue it would have been a plot point.
