The LHC is not going to create a black hole that will consume the world. If it did create a black hole, it would only exist for a fraction of a second before dissapearing. We don't have the technology to create dark matter, energy, or black holes.

Personally, I would spend those four years at first not changing my life too much, saving myself for the last year where I would probably be a complete dick

I would barely change my normal schedule, though I may take a few international trips.

Granted I think it's stupid. Why bother trying to figure out how the universe was made. We'll never replicate it. Even if we could, where the hell would we put a whole 'nother universe?

But the machine will not cause a black hole that'll kill us. The chance is extremely small, and we have a better chance at getting hit by the Apohis comet in 2038
