Please much better character models. Also, remove invisible walls in the mountains. If you're going to limit my movement through the world at least give me a natural blockage. I agree with others about a deeper story line. I liked Morrowinds story much more than Oblivion. How about a crafting system? I mean they give you all of these extra crafting type items in the game that do nothing. Make use of them.

hmmm... hire more than 6 voice actors for all 500 something NPC's, make all the music as good as the title screen music(the rest is shit).
Create a variety of dungeons instead of just snapping pre-made rooms togeteher in a different order.
Just remove levelling all together, it's pointless because the enemy's scale with you, but it's not balanced so the longer you put of the main quest the harder it will be.

Don't get rid of the levelling, then what kind RPG is it? they just need to fix the scaling problems, just give you stronger enemies as you level rather than stronger enemies that can become infinitely strong.

I think the idea about that was the mountain became too steep to climb so you cant just run up a practically vertical mountain you need to find the best way around it, sure it could have been done better but it's a good idea

I'd like to see some better combat, more than just mashing on the trigger.
Make the best armor and weapons more rare
Different dungeons
More inventive quests (Like the one where you go into a painting, cool stuff like that)
The spells should look different (flare should be a tiny spark and immolating blast should be a massive inferno)
Destructible environments
More weapons (spears, throwing daggers, etc.)
An immersive story
Dragons! I want to read one!

2 major things that i'd like to see in TES 5 are awesome vampires who jump at you and try and bite your neck and who wear black hoods and robes and dont carry swords and shields but perhaps a small dagger, and dont have them speak proper clear english. The vampires on Oblivion were just like mercenaries with fangs and a weird looking face.

The second thing is bring back the legendary armour and weapons like the Lords Mail and the Dragon bone which really made your character unstopable. And it gave you a really good feeling when you found them without help from the internet or friends. And also make the Daedric armour and weapons rare (and look awesome).

Throwing knifes- Just for my pleasure :S

Multiplayer- Now, I understand this could be VERY hard to pull off. Heck, your looking at a humongous world with so much to do and such, but at least a co-op lan? Lol I don't see it happening but we can all hope, can't we?

I want to see real RPG elements and nothing of that console tard basic RPG BS.
Care to elaborate?

You're obviously a troll, since when a game is on a console, it isn't different from PC RPGs, and Oblivion was on the PC too.

I think they should make it more like Morrowind. Morrowind was so awesome I felt that Oblivion was a step back, you had less weapon and armor choices. And a crappy Dues Ex Machina ending. But I'm sure enough people have complained about that.

He's referring to the game being dumbed down for your average console gamer.

i like how they made the fast travel in fallout 3, must find the location first, and the only thing you have marked in the beginning is your starting location

Basically, I want the good from Morrowind (RIDICULOUSLY rich and deep story that was relevant to, and taught you about the entire culture and history of Morrowind. Very diverse landscapes and architecture, enemies and shop merchandise not leveling with you) mixed with the good from Oblivion (graphics, draw distance, indefinite running, magic system). Also the Melee combat needs to be seriously revamped so that it's a lot more immersive and interesting. Better voice acting and more actors is great too.
I know this is an ancient post, but HELL YES. I want the lore, the literature and the history lessons Morrowind-style to make a comeback. Although I can't agree with you on the infinite running: Fatigue results in effectiveness in combat being reduced, period.
Also I know I might get screamed at for this but maybe the text-based story progression wasn't that bad? I mean I always had fun mouthing the rage of the character who was about to kill me, and it sounded better in my head than when the characters in Oblivion did roughly the same thing. You can still make cutscenes for the really important things and put voice acting in those sort of like they did in TES III: Morrowind but more often than that game did.

Basically I would like to see that within the province of Morrowind again. But this time make it the whole province, please.

They need to take a few cues from baldur's gate 2, a game I felt totally blew oblivion out of the water. Oblivion seemed like it was geared to create a picture-perfect view when you exit the initial cave, and then it was that same scene copy and pasted everywhere. remember the telvanni city in morrowind? as grey and murky and sameish as morrowwind was... there were at least a few interesting places scattered about.

Have Online PLAY !!!!!!!!
No. You would just complain about how unbalanced the spellmaking was. If you want a high fanatasy online game, play warcraft for gods sake.

Get rid of the fast travelling, as it makes the world feel incredibly small.
Not attacking you here, but everytime I see this I always want to ask...

Why not just NOT USE fast travel? No one's forcing you to use it. Some people (myself included) enjoy the fast travel. I wouldn't want the option completely removed. If it's gone I have no choice but to walk everywhere. If its enabled, you just simply need to not use it.

The Elder Scrolls universe has a massive amount of lore, so I agree. But I don't want it in Morrowind! I'd most like it in Elsweyr but it isn't going to happen. Fairly sure it's going to be in Skyrim.

What's wrong with the ending? It's epic.

I think that the main questline needs to be longer. And without the dumbing down like Oblivion had.
