Well I'm wondering about the ES5. I want to hear your views on where it will be set and anything you're looking forward to in it. Personally I look forward to it hopefully being set in Valenwood and/or Elsweyr and with it just the game play of ES4 but improved NCP's combat and more missions. I'll have to admit that the Dark Brotherhood missions were my favorite in ES4 and hopefully sneaking might be improved with more missions based around it.

No, not the one that is coming out. Really the Elder Scrolls 5. Not Fallout 3 but Ill admit that looks good too.

I say that, because the next big blockbuster game coming out by Bethesda Software is.. Fallout 3. have they even officially announced ES5 yet?

I don't doubt ES5 will get made

but I think we have at the very least a year before real speculation can begin, it wasn't at this years E3, because I'm pretty sure Fallout 3 was the focus of Bethesda's "Booth".. they don't get booths anymore, but you get the point.

whether they are currently working on it or not, who's to say.. I find Elder Scrolls fairly boring, but it has a real cult following.

I've played all of the games in the Elder Scrolls series. I hope there will bee an ES 5. Although i'm not a MMORPG fan i would like to see an Elder Scrolls Online. And the world would be made up of all of the provinces. I bet that fans would like that. I would like to see more monsters in the wilderness not just in caves and dungeons.

I would like TES5 to take place in Morrowind again, and this time the whole of Morrowind. If that's not an option Skyrim is my second best.

Kill fast travel
don't give the protagonist and everyone else the stamina of a marathon runner
Bring back the extensive list of skills
Bring back staves and spears for god sakes
Bring back TES3 Dark Elf voice actor
Get rid of every-idiot-can-use-spells/repair armor/join any faction-gameplay
Axes are NOT blunt weapons
Bring back TES3 levelling system
Death to immersion-killing conversation system
Better lore than previous TES
More landscape diversity
Stop making it so damn easy to earn piles of money
Make legendary/very powerful items expensive as hell again (I liked the way the 210000 looked at me while I was checking out my Staff of Magnus in my inventory :) )
Interesting main story line
Bring back TES3 persuasion system (never understood how my character knew if this person liked being threatened or not, or how much gold you have to give him/her to get god knows how much disposition up)
Get rid of map markers
Make it harder to obtain legendary/Daedric artefacts.
Better AI
Don't tell the player what to do with every quest update; some people can figure out they have to go talk to Johnny because he was last seen with the murder victim themselves.

That's about it, can't think of anything more right now.

Yes I'm a huge TES3 fan and maybe I just like to revive the glory days it was the best one of the series. Loved it, still loving it, will always love it and no RPG I played after pulled me in like that game did.

I agree with everything apart from it being set in Morrowind again. I'd much prefer V to delve into other areas of Tamriel, possibly Summerset Isle or as you say, Skyrim. There was mention of both of these provinces in Oblivion, with High Elves boycotting Imperial goods etc. It would be nice to follow up with these rumours and implement them as part of the next game.

*snip list*
I'd agree with killing fast travel, though that'd be under the assumption we get Levitate, Jump, Astral Mark+Recall spells, as well as a 'realistic' fast travel system between major towns/cities a la silt striders in Morrowind. It'd also make having a horse more important, as, while they were nice in Oblivion, a bit pointless because of the fast travel system.

"Get rid of every-idiot-can-use-spells/repair armor/join any faction-gameplay" I'm not too sure about this. I agree the join-any-faction gameplay should be reduced upon. Joining one faction should bar you from another. However the everyone can use spells+repair armour point...not so sure. Unless you trained them, they were of little use when you got to the higher levels in Oblivion and I liked that. Sure, the fact that my armorer skill was too shit to repair my magic items annoyed me, but it meant I went out and trained it up. What I would like to see is a system which stops easy short cuts being made to skill up.

The "Bring back TES3 Levelling system" again, disagree. I'd like to see a whole new levelling system because I disliked both Oblivion and Morrowind's. Getting Major+Minor+Misc skills instead of just Major+Misc would be nice though.

Pretty much everything else I agree with. I can haz final boss which I actually use my equipment on, please? -_-

Fallout 3 is just their latest project. They hav announced that they will eventually continue in the elder scrolls series, but they work on one project at a time.

I don't really care where it's set, or how the leveling system works or anything, I just want a wider variety of equipment, especially armor...

I really hope they improve character animation, I'd also like my sword to have a visible effect on the person I'm swinging it at :D

I think a search function would be nice. Like a button. a SEARCH BUTTON, so you could search in your inventory. Yeah. A SEARCH BUTTON would be pretty cool. It only works if people use it, though.
