You reach for the first trap you find, and it grabs your right hand while a machete pops up from the ground and begins to head toward you. The machete then leaps out of the air, and you see that it is attached to a giant sand whale!
I require a new hand one with better stealing action and a in built time positioning device of some kind.... oh and I duck. Into a hole that was made when I stole the dirt.
The sand whale eats freebie witz and heads toward casius and debatra! Maddawg, being a genius and solving the trap, is now dashing towards the whale, brandishing his new weapon, a CHAINSAW COVERED IN GIANT ANT BLOOD!(The blood makes it poisonous!) BUT BEFORE WE CAN WRAP THIS UP...WE NEED DEBATRA TO POST!
Seeing the giant whale heading towards his fellow adventurers, runedeadthA uses his new talisman to cast a Super Flare at the whale! He then hides behind Maddawg.
Debatra attempts to beat the arrow away, with his sword but fails. The arrow grazes his left shoulder.
Debatra infuses his blade with the power of Electricity and casts a Flare spell. in the light, he throws his blade in one direction, making sure the electric charge is detectable, and runs in the other. As the spell fades, he's nowhere to be found. He creeps up behind Cassius and, just before casting, notices the weights held by a rope just above Cassius; a trap waiting to be sprung.
"Pyran", Debatra mutters, sending a Scorch at the rope.

The whale shakes its...head area, and then charges toward our two cowering heros! Thinking quickly, maddawg throws his sword at the whales uvula! The whale hurls out freebiewitz! Then, all of a sudden, the stomach acid actually begins to eat away at the whale's body! The very sand under this powerful acid turns to pristine glass!
Meanwhile, Debatra has found (aka. expertly placed) and activated a trap! The heavy weights fall, pinning casius by his legs! The voice of the phoenix is heard echoing through only debatra's mind! "FINISH HIM!"

runedeadthA wraps his hand in cloth and starts picking up bits of glass, wiping the acid off the pieces, the cloth quickly burns away so hes robs a nearby headless corpse of its shirt and continues, 23 corpses (and 55 pieces of clothing later) he has enough to full one of his hidden pockets.
As an after thought he rubs his staff against the acid to make it into.....A Pointy Stick!

Yes but I got the dissolved talisman juice and but into a glass vial (which all magicians magically have at need, thank you genre conventions)
Debatra, hearing the voice of the Phoenix, retrieves his blade and moves toward his former comrade. He charges his sword with the power of Fire and lops Casius's head off; stabbing it while it's in the air.

Well, you find some whale sinew, whale blubber, whale skin, and you sharpen one of the ribs, which makes a curved blade (perfect for lopping off body parts, and for reaching around shields to stab.)(blubber works as lubricant or burning material, and sinew is tough and can be used like rope or to tie things.)
I search the whale for ambergris (which our thief did know about and therefore could not steal)
You find a huge lump of the stuff.(useful for making cosmetics or, with one last ingredient, you can make a new talisman with it and the whale acid/enchanted wood pulp/shards of glass/whale blubber[but you can only get the blubber if you make a deal with freebiewitz])
I threaten to gut freebie who craps his pants and hands over the blubber. I then give the blubber to Runedeath to help with the talisman
Sorry freebie but the blubber is better off in his hands.
