The Escapist Adventure: An Open RP (Resetting Tomorrow)

Robert and Riley had hauled ass into the house while (Jedi Master) Huey turned just enough to see a gun pointed at his head.

"Drop the weapon!" The cop shouted.

"I'm not holding one" Said the young Jedi Master.

"Gun!" One of the officers cried.

This is normally the part where another innocent black man... or boy in this case is beaten to an inch of his life by some trigger-happy cops... Except, it wasn't that part. (Jedi Master) Huey simply turned to look at the cops and said "There is no trouble here."

The cops suddenly lowered their guns. "There's no trouble." One of them said and the next moment they went back to their cruisers and drove away.

(Jedi Master) Huey then looked at Yoko and motioned for her to follow him as he went back to his ship.

Meanwhile

In a darkened office, an old bald man watched (Jedi Master) Huey turn away the police force.

"That lil' ni**a's voodoo magic's gotten stronger it seems." Said Uncle Rukus

"That is true, Rukus. But the boy or that girl are of no interest to me. It's the weapons and items they have." Said the man. "But, rest assure, Rukus, I will have it..."

Yoko picked up her rifle and strode after Huey. "Cool little mind trick. Is there anything you can't do?"

-Meanwhile-

Marston decided to break the silence. "So, any of y'all got a wife or kids? Just curious."

Mancomb's hat rose up over his head and he said, "NOPE" before his neck rose to meet the hat. "HAR HAR HAR always funny that one. How about we all look for the Treasure of the Ghost Pirate Le chuck."
Mancomb pulls a chicken with a grappling hook in the middle out of his pants and use it to board his ship, which was now on Monster truck wheels

"Al... Alright," John said, walking after Mancomb. He had heard stories of these pirates- raping and pillaging didn't seem like Seepgood's M.O.

As he walked, he stopped to prod at the rubber tires. "What're they made of?" he asked. "Can't be iron."

"Ya har they be made of the finest rubber in the Caribbean straight of Monkey Island[sub](tm)[/sub], in case you hadn't figured what game I was from. he said winking at Steakheart(yeah thats right Steak he is looking at you through the screen)

 

[SteakHeart]

"Augh! Stop staring at me!" shouted SteakHeart.

"Huh," John said, "I don't use much rubber."

"Oh is that so me hearty, you seem like a man who wouldn't use rubber." Wink Wink Nudge Nudge Say no more innuendos Mancomb

 

[SteakHeart]

John turned to Mancomb, understanding his joke. "Sir, I have a wife, and I wouldn't dream of skimping on being careful. What I meant was that it's not used much in building. Metal, wood, fur, rope, that's about it."

And so, with Yoko next to him, (Jedi Master) Huey started the ship and flew off into the distance.

"So, what's your story?" He said. Though not much a social person, (Jedi Master) Huey decided he might as well talk to the woman if only to get some information that may help him understand why the police sought to take her as well.

However, before anything could be properly exchanged, a squadron of fighter jets were already on their tail.

"You know how to operate a turret gun?" (Jedi Master) Huey asked Yoko

Suddenly an object appeared above the treasure hunters, spiraling out of the New Austin clouds a little while ahead of them in the direction they were traveling. It appeared from that distance to be a lozange with two lumps on the top side. Like this (please tell me you know what it is):

It was spinning erratically and making sounds similar to those of a river boat, but louder, and with a faint whup - whup - whup undertone. It was coloured in a dull metalic grey.

"Course I do. But my rifle can do more than any turret- I take down Ganmen with it every day."

-Meanwhile-

John looked up at the object. By now, he had grown jaded to these appearances. "Ugh," he groaned.

And so began the aerial dogfight, with (Jedi Master) Huey deftly dodging machine guns and homing missiles as the squadron of fighters followed them.

"And how do you suppose you use that gun in a time like this?" (Jedi Master) Huey inquired while turning the ship on its side and flying between two buildings.

The object continued on its erratic spiral, some purpose evident as the person controlling it had obviously seen the party, and was attempting to hit them or near them. Mere seconds later the metal tube crashed to the ground a hundred or so meters ahead of the group, chunks torn off by the landing and smoke billowing from the rear bump.

Yoko paused. "You right. Where's the turret gun?"

-Meanwhile-

John ran back down that gangplank and towards the tube. "Hey! Whoever's in there, show yourself!"

"In the back, towards the right" (Jedi Master) Huey instructed while performing a barrel roll to avoid two homing missiles. Suddenly the ship rocked from an explosion as they took a hit from the back... Right where the turret was.

"Damnit!" (Jedi Master) Huey cursed

Yoko raised her rifle and rushed towards the hole in the back of the ship. Since her anime ran on the rule of cool, she wasn't affected by the lack of oxygen in space. She fired at the persuing fighters, clipping the wing of one of them and sending it flying off into space. She fired twice more, blowing up the clipped fighter.

With another pair of homing missles trailing them, (Jedi Master) Huey flew straight up, then stopped, making the ship freefall as the missiles collided with each other.

"Yoko, get back in here, I'm gonna warp us somewhere else." (Jedi Master) Huey said through a telepathic message, an aspect of the Force he learned.

"Ugh, Bloody Hell. That Wanker came out of nowhere." was the first thing CSjt Harper thought when he regained consciousness. The second was 'uh, oh. I don't think I'm in Pripyat anymore...'. The third, and final for the moment was: 'Who the F*ck was that?'

"Colour Harper of the 22nd SAS regiment, D squadron. Where the hell am I, and who the bloody hell are you?"

 

[Clockwork Scarecrow.]

Henworth, having returned to work on his latest device, conceived in a fever, was fiddling with a steel pipe junction between the master steam engine fixture, the electricity pump, the liquid nitrogen coolant tank and the mercury-based electron divider when, without warning, there erupted a fierce-some bang a flash of light coloured in the three primary colours and orange accompanied by the smell of greasy chips and burnt cloth.

When his vision cleared he realised he was falling quite fast and that his machine was falling apart. Before he could focus however, he noticed a dull-gray object spinning in the clouds. As he neared the ground he jumped from his machine and landed on a tarpaulin in the busy town while his machine thudded to the ground and shattered.

After a few minutes, and checking that his shattered machine wouldn't hurt anyone if left unchecked he gathered his composure and began to make for the misshapen object which had now hit the ground.

"John Marston. What's the SAS?" asked John.

Yoko ran back into the cockpit. "Let's get the hell out of here!"
