Neku used Tomoya's temporary distractedness to take a sudden turn to get away from him. Creepy, he thought. I haven't been followed that closely since...well, since I 'left' Shibuya. And Stalker. Silently hoping there weren't any more Noise around, he broke into a run.
You wanna either look for or run into Neku? Go ahead. Like I said, I'd rather not be alone, even though Neku's character says I kinda have to. Or at least resent any company. In character, that is.
She fired a humongous fireball, destroying a good portion of the arrows. Some made through, most of the remaining arrows passing the dragoness. Three hit her, a small cry escaping her, and Caim fell from the dragoness' back. He drew his sword, and charged at the small man. "CAIM! NO!" Red called to him, Caim not heeding the dragon's call. He still had latent energy within his blade (from that big battle) and he fired a volley of fireballs at the small man; and slashed at him in the confusion of the fire. Caim didn't know what he hit exactly, but there was a cry of pain. When the smoke cleared, Caim could see ichor faintly leaking from an extremely small cut on the... Man? Was it a man? Caim couldn't tell. He knew the creature was made of metal, perhaps he was a 'cyborg'. The queen might have mentioned them.
"Angelus! Attack him with a homing volley, NOW!"
She complied, and fired eight homing fireballs at the cyborg.
This was going to be interesting....
I don't know what exactly hurts your character, but let me know if I'm a bit off, kay? And as mentioned earlier, Angelus can fire off 8 homing fireballs, as well as a grand magic/fire attack; but I don't see that happening anytime soon... Any ideas on how you want this battle to end? Maybe we can have them team up? Angelus wouldn't like it, but it could make for good story.
Tabitha tipped her hat to the old woman behind the vendor and left the small arts store in downtown New York. The day was bright and and overcast at the same time. Singular clumps of dark grey clouds drifted in a wonderful mix with the sunlight and white wisps, swirling here and there, and generally being something great that no one int he city ever bothered to notice.
She swung her recently purchased claymore around her fingers and lay the carbon-infused tip on the sidewalk, leaving a black streak as she walked. The sun shone bright as she continued, drawing out another massive circle around Times Square, and all of Manhattan.
IN high spirits she began to sing softly, ♫~ "I'm walking on sunshine..." ~♪
Time seemingly slowed down for Xero, his sheathed sword materialized in his hands once again. He sliced through each of the fireballs, disintegrating them as each arrived. He clicked the sword sheathed again.
He crouched into a low stance. "Make peace with your gods now, 'cause I'm going for your neck!" and Xero launched and sprinted at them at blinding speeds.
chip away at him, i also have plans for the fight so just don't kill him.
After hearing Frank's damn ass loud voice from Empire State Building he lost the sight of the orange haired kid, "Hmm, I lost him, he seems, strange" Tomoya mutters to himself as he turns around and starts to run back to the Empire State Building.
Minutes pass as Tomoya arrives at the base of the State building and looks up to only find a giant familiar robot standing at the top of the building, Tomoya sighs as he summons his sword in public but only half of it, "If they seen him I guess they wont mine me" Tomoya sighs as he grips onto his steak box and puts enough electricity into his palm to attach it to the building.
Tomoya was running was the empire state building, nobody noticed him due to the fact it was nighttime, Tomoya then reached the top of the building and broke into a flip as he arrived at the feet of Mechas and Frank cried as he opened the door to the car "Where the hell where you!?", "I felt like a steak" Tomoya said "Did you get one from TGI fridays?" "Yeah, what about it, they do damn good steak, Tomoya snapped back "Hell yeah they do" Frank responded, "Also I saw a orange haired kid, he seemed from not around here, and he has the presence of power, I thought he might be useful if we recruit him, but he ran when I was distracted by your booming voice, he doesn't seem to be the sociable fellow, We should go after him, what do you think Frank?" Tomoya said then gasped for air.
Don't kill Caim or Angelus either, I have a few plans as well... I do have a back up plan if something happens to Angelus, but I adore her... I'd be rather sad if she was gone...
Caim could see the man rushing towards, him; his speed was inhuman. He slashed at Caim's throat. Caim was able to duck away from the attacks, but panic began to form in his mind. For the first time sense the pact, he felt as if he could possibly die from an encounter.
But, Caim remembered, the pact had made the two far stronger than any mere mortal. He gripped his sword tightly, and began to feel the strength of the dragon flow into him. The two were becoming one again, like the first day of the pact. He smiled, time slowing for him; draconic senses overtaking his mind. He could see the man advancing towards him at (apparently) normal speeds. To any normal human, they could see nothing but sparks flying. It was almost a dance for the two nigh invincible beings; a violent change between parries, attacks, thrusts and blocks.
The dragoness floated in the sky, focusing her energies into staying out of the way of the battle and empowering Caim. It was a tiring business, for she had not done it for so long at one time. She was seeing the battle in Caim's eyes at this point, and finding herself flinch as he did, or moving faintly with his motions. At opportune moments, she would fire homing fireballs at the cyborg; but they seemed to not affect the being at all. She cursed and continued working towards giving Caim extraordinary strength. This was what pact partners were about, and she would fulfill her role to the end.
Caim felt the magic/energy (I don't know which it is, I think it's supposed to be magic) fill his sword once more; and when the cyborg seemed close, he released it in a different manner:
Check near 1:02-1:05 of the video, you'll see Caim attack and create a blue shock-wave. Also, you can see Red's current form (the one attacking the airships)and hear her talk. She mentions "impertinent jackals, I shall burn you all" And I'll admit that I took a few liberties with the whole "strength thing" but the game states that pact partners are more powerful than others of their species, sooo yeah. And it's some good flavor. I finally found a good reference for Red/Angelus. WOOT! sorry for the info-dump, but it should help with some of the mental imagery, I think...
Back to the battle
Caim released the shockwave and knocked the cyborg on his back. Pointing his sword at the cyborg (and forgetting he couldn't be heard) he addressed, "Why did you murder the queen? You've upset my dragon friend here rather greatly, and I'd like to know why. Tell me quickly and I'll give you a swift death."
"Caim, don't be a fool! Slaughter him now!"
"I want some answers! And no one seems to be wanting to give them to me these days." He turned his head back to the cyborg, only to see him gone. Caim blanched, and said quietly "Shit."
Tomoya yelled "Don't leave me behind!". Another lightning bolt hit Tomoya and formed his lightning wings and he easily caught up to Frank West and Mechas, "Last time I saw him was around Time Square, so he should be around that area" Tomoya said while flowing gracefully in the soft wind.
Im going to see a movie today, if you post anymore just play my character and try to find Leet, ill be back sometime later.
I'm heading for the one other landmark in New York I can remember. Feel free to zip-mode over there if you like.
Somehow, Neku had fluked his way onto a train without anyone trying to stop him, based on his lack of money to buy a ticket. He didn't feel great about it, but he was certainly relieved... until the big, buff, uniformed guy walked up and asked after his ticket. Not wanting to create a scene by using his pins too soon (assuming they worked in this city's RG), he immediately hopped off as soon as the train pulled into the station. The buff guy gave chase, calling a bunch of others to do the same, but Neku didn't care. He just kept running for where he thought the exit was. Unfortunately, by the time he reached the large 'cathedral' area, all the exits were blocked.
Sighing, he stood on top of a sign, quickly reading the text (Grand Central Station) and held his hands up, waiting for the inevitable.
iscutom 180-83;
Better pull out my updated Bible. Seems Inglip wants me to read a specific passage.
Does it matter? Also, i didn't realise it was night :/
Tabitha stopped by Grand Central Station and brought her claymore up from the current glyph she was etching into the cement and looked at a peculiar orange haired boy being cornered, on a sign no less, by security guards.
She walked over to him and stared him int he eyes before asking, "Nai kono atari-kara, o genkidesu? (You're not from around here, are you?)"
She looked at the burly men inching toward him with some kind of demented devotion and she swung her claymore into his chest and spread his blood across the lot of the station, "Blood crest three, done," she looked up at him again, "need any help?"
He'd just had a massive sword thrust through his chest.
And all his blood went everywhere.
As such, he was dead by the time Tabitha asked her question.
This was nothing new for Neku, but what was new was that apparently he needed a United States passport to participate in the Reapers' Game in New York.
Therefore, he had no way that he knew of of coming back to life.
He made a mental note to congratulate that woman, if/when he came back, on her incredibly unique and polite way of helping people.
I haven't been around for a while, so I don't know if that attack is survivable, but going by the fact that most of Neku's blood isn't in his body any more...Time to go find a new avatar.
Meanwhile, the guards and the police just stared. Then all of them ran off, screaming.

Okay, fine. I assumed you were stabbing Neku, but my reasoning is as follows:
"She looked at the burly men inching toward him with some kind of demented devotion and she swung her claymore into his chest"
To me, that looks like Tabitha was aiming for Neku, not one of the numerous guards, which you acknowledged were numerous. Neku is the only male, singular object there, so it must have been him. QED.
Tell you what, though: since you killed me, you get to pick which of the two characters I currently have in cold storage comes back. Youmu or Utusho?

Sorry for being a grammar Nazi, but the point remains: you killed me. Or rather, you killed my current character, entirely at random, without realising you were doing it, and therefore giving me no chance to react. But like I said, I'm not holding it against you, to the point where I'm letting you pick who/what I do next.
Youmu, Utusho (once I find Aperture again) or someone new and interesting? Or perhaps you have a 'Life' spell as well somewhere?
(That last bit isn't means to sound condescending, even if it does.)
"What the hell" Tomoya pointed out to Frank, the two were hovering or flying over the Grand Central Station and Tomoya pointed out two central beings and guards running away, there was blood , a lot of blood, one person had a sword through them and the other held a claymore, "Hey its that kid, also I sense the Fallen one" Tomoya muttered as the two started to decent.
Neku was dying, and losing blood, a whole load of blood, Tomoya descended, landed and stood over the body and looked at Tabitha who was still there "I thought you were here" Tomoya said while staring coldly into her dark eyes, then BOOM Frank and Mechas landed right in front of Tomoya and the body of Neku.
Frank asked Tomoya "Is he going to live" "Only if he wants to" Tomoya responds as he lays his hands over Neku's almost lifeless body, lightning starts to surround Tomoya's body and mysterious electricity starts to flow into Neku's body, "(Live, damn it, LIVE!)" Tomoya yelled in japanese at Neku's body.
Its up to you Leet, do you want to live or not, either way I lose a load of power.
Neku suddenly bolted awake, somehow more pale than usual. Partly this was the shock, and partly it was that his blood was still all over the floor instead of inside his circulatory system. Despite that, he was still inexplicably able to move around normally. Not stopping to wonder why, he instead wondered who all these strange people were. And why a giant robot was inside the train station, having literally broken the glass ceiling. And why everyone else was here too. Including that blue-haired boy who'd bothered him earlier.
Then he saw the girl with the sword, and remembered that he'd been stabbed. And then she'd asked him if he needed help.
Instinctively, he reached down for one of his presumably-not-working pins. Psychokinesis was what his hand touched first, although he couldn't see it. Shouting, "(This is for stabbing me!)" as loudly as possible (also remembering she'd addressed him in his native language), he thrust his hand out at her and a nearby bench came loose from the floor, rocketing straight at Tabitha. Not stopping to observe the results, he quickly put all six pins on so he could see what he had available.
Neku's pins right now are Psychokinesis, Force Rounds (a basic projectile attack), Thunderbolt (from the sky), Pyrokinesis, Shockwave (basic melee attack) and Cure Drink. All of those have to recharge after being used enough, and Cure Drink takes longer than all the others, requiring Neku to have slept for a while before its three uses are recharged. Everything else recharges in a matter of seconds and have longer 'clips'. I might bring in more later, but he can only have six at a time.
Crap didn't know we were IN the station, good thing Leet came up with something.
"(Good thing your up)" Tomoya spoke as he slumped down on a near wall, "(Your that guy that stalked me)" Neku turned back to the Lightning Angel and spoke that, "(What are you?)" Neku asked once more, "(You'll learn later, first we have to get out of here, she's very dangerous)" Tomoya spoke to both Neku and Frank.
The Queen's dead body was leaking an extreme amount of acid, corroding though the floor and damaging some thing very important..
Xero was enjoying the battle, Even though he was now on the ground, at the mercy of this other person. But he felt a wave wash over himself, being an electromagnetic pulse the other two didn't feel it.
Within a flash he was on Red's back and forcing her to land, not hard, but enough to get her down, he jumped off the dragon once she was on the ground and tackled caim to the ground also.
The world started to twist and turn like the fabric of reality was coming undone. with a great boom, the air above them was electrified and would have killed anything in it.
After looking up from being face down on the ground Xero saw Mars and Earth in the same orbit, orbiting the sun, opposite from one another. The Micro dyson sphere failed and was brought to reality, encompassing Mars and earth with venus and mercury gone.
Xero got off caim and felt a bit drained. "You two are no good to me if the damn world kills you. I'm assuming you two have an honor system in place because it would be no great victory if you killed me while i was weak." and he sat on the ground.
Basically mars and earth are in the same orbit inside the dysoin sphere that is now back in reality.
