Caim and the dragon looked at the being, whatever his name was, in confusion. The dragoness asked, "You saved us. Why?"
"What I'm more worried about is that this guy says he has some kind of use for us!"
He rubbed his back lightly, feeling a faint pain from the attack upon the dragon. "Ow... You okay, Angelus?"
"I am fine, Caim. And unfortunately, the creature is right. We dragons have a sense of class when it comes to such favors. Without your help I would have most certainly have died. For that, I will not hound you for the death of the queen; however, do not think that I will not have an eye upon you, nor will I forgive you. However, should you make one false movement, and I will most certainly end you. Especially should you attack Caim without a proper provocation. If's he's looking for some sport however, I will stay out of it. Don't give me that look, Caim, I know how you are. Now, creature, I would like to know why you did... End the queen creature, and what you are doing on what will soon be my new territory. Speak, we will not attack you. Right, Caim?"
Caim, in an annoyed manner, kicked at the dirt and gave a slight nod.
Your choice, i simply put a bridge in place to help caim let off some steam. it's your choice how its used.
Xero let off a simple "Hmphh" at the mention of killing the queen. "She was a threat to me as are you, however i saved you because a creature like you deserves a proper death, perhaps later." he brushed the dirt off the armor he had on. "By proper i mean in glorious in battle. despite my anger issues, i still have a sense of honor."
It's impossible for Caim to completely let off steam. He loves fighting, and it's a major part of his character. I'm sure he's a bit tired though...
"I take it that you wish to continue then? How about this: in one hour's time, we will continue the bout. I'm sure both you and Caim would appreciate that."
Caim nodded in earnest, and leaned against the dragon's flank when the man dissappeared.
"He's good. The queen wasn't kidding when she said he'd be a challenge. More fun for the two of us, eh dragon?"
The dragon chuckled, and lightly rubbed her nose against Caim's cheek; a light demand for a scratch upon her nose (it's rather hard to get to when one is lacking forelimbs). Caim complied, and quietly enjoyed the brief moment of peace, knowing full well that it would be shattered in an hour.
I need more energy, the small skirmish had taken allot out of me. Xero thought and looked up to find the two planets orbiting around the sun. "That explains what the fuck just happened." he said gesturing to them.
Caim and the dragon looked at the cyborg in confusion, then looked to the sky. Caim gave a wry smile, and said, "So, when do the demons show up? It's not everyday a world ends..."
The dragon gave a huff, and asked the cyborg, "Why is the sky as it is? It certainly cannot be good or natural for this place..."
"This place isn't naturul, from the logs of the labs, this place was built by the "Forerunners". Don't press me on the subject, i don't know much. But apparently the Entire structure," He said gesturing to the inside of the giant sphere they're in. "Is now in reality, outside of slip-space, and has shifted the orbits of Mars and Earth into the same path, Opposite each other. My only guess is the Queens blood caused this." he cycled through his weapons to check their functionality.
"And we have simply appeared around the system Sol."
Tiberius looked around after the Dyson sphere came into existence. "Hm, it seems my plans just got a lot more interesting," he said as he got into the dreadnought. When he was finally in the bridge of the ship, he saw some turian skeletons laying around. "Well now I know that they've been here so long that all the juicy bits have decomposed. Course now that means that there's probably toxic gases flying around. Gonna have to get that taken care of," he said as he took a pulsing red cube out of his pack. "Initiate Omega Protocol," he said to the cube. "Omega Protocol initiated. Waiting for authorization code," it said back to him in a digital female voice. "Whiskey-Bravo-Delta-Zulu-November-Lima-Three-Six-Eight-Five," he said.
"Authorization code validated, beginning take over of nearby ship computer network by the AI EDI," it said as the cube began to hum to life. Soon the ship started to power up as all the systems started to run. After hour of waiting, Tiberius finally got the all clear from EDI. "It feels good to be back Commander Tiberius. How long have I been in storage?" she asked him. "About 300 years at the very least and its good to have you back. Anyway, I would like you to run a diagnostic of the ships' systems for the time being," he said as he made his way to the pilot's chair.
"Energy spike on Mars, looks massive." Xero said after receiving info from his face shield. "Want to investigate? readings indicate that the atmosphere in here extends until the near surface of the sun."
Sev and the BERSERKERs felt a small tug as they entered Mars's gravity. They sped across the planet's surface in formation, Sev at the front, the other 10 officers and 66 Faceless Ones following in a V-formation.
I swear, if no one gets that joke by the end of page 251 I'm going to blow my own brains out with a shotgun up the arse.
Sev shouted out commands to his men, "Okay, I need a Wing Charlie Bravo on the Fly; NO MAYO PEOPLE! NO MAYO! THAT MEANS YOU JENKINS!" Sev glared at a blushing BERSERKER.
They flew over mountains and through lakebeds, out and about The Strudentorok Mole People's Heathen Capital, and finally over Mount Setpiece to the sight of a massive ship rising above the surface of Mars. Sev and the BERSERKERS stopped short, mouths agape. Sev regained his composure and dissolved more diamond into oxygen.

The "Five Long Years" is a reference to the "Time-skip" that i feel this plot had during our early-September lull

The BERSERKS roared in response, their eyes turned red, their muscles rippled in their suits, and their teeth lengthened and sharpened. The Swedes roared one more time, and then took off towards the ship, laser swords, laser axes, laser beams, and diamond tendrils ready for destruction.
Back at the ranch...
Frank grabbed Neku and Tomoya, threw them in the backseat of Megas's head, and flew towards Edinburgh, the Swedish Empire's Main Scottish Base.
"What's going on?" Tomoya asked Frank, sitting up. Frank put Megas on autopilot and turned to face his companions.
"Sev picked up some serious activity on Mars. Upon further inspection, we discovered some kind of giant space-faring craft. Sev went up with the 10 officers and 66 Faceless Ones of the BERSERKER units to delay the extraction of the ship," Frank finished, catching his breath. Tomoya's eyebrows narrowed.
"But who would have the power to mine an entire SHIP from inside another PLANET?" Tomoya pondered. Frank took two pictures out of his pocket. He gave them to Tomoya.
"The one on the left is a group photo of the old Trio of Awesome, the three agents of the Old Villains from five years ago. You can pick out Sev and that's Zechs in the middle, and the guy on the right in the space armor? His name is-WAS, Ken. He was always a bit off, even was a bit abusive to me back in that sub-atmospheric triple-shipped triple-sided battle some time ago," Frank pointed to the next picture, "And this is Ken after five years. He renamed himself Tiberius, built himself a galactic empire, and came back to Earth for some reason we don't know yet," Frank sighed, "This is the guy who's on Mars, getting that ship out of the crust of the planet. This is what we have to prevent so Heroes and Villains can live to fight," Frank's eyes shimmered, "another day..." Frank turned behind him to look out the windshield.
"Ah, and so we arrive in Edinburgh," Tomoya looked out the window at the gargantuan city, built tall with pointy, black buildings that had a bit of an aura about them. There was an utterly huge dome in the center of the city, probably an homage to the Ways of Old. The dome opened, and Megas descended into the depths of the Swedish City Center.
okay, three things. one, what the fuck is a dyson sphere? Two, how the fuck did two planets magically go into a "dyson sphere"? And Three, WHEN the fuck did two planets magically go into a "dyson sphere"?
Caim mounted the dragon, looking to the sky in curiosity as they rose in the clouds after the cyborg. Red spoke, "Caim, it seems things become even more bizarre the longer we stay in any realm. We, my friend, are magnets for trouble."
Caim laughed and pointed at the sky with his sword, "It only means things are going to get more fun for all of us!"
The dragoness shook her head, and continued flying higher and higher after the cybernetic being; the two awaiting what new and interesting things to occur, with the brief alliance with the aforementioned being.
I believe Mcpop posted what a dyson sphere was a few pages back. From what I understand, a dyson sphere is a star sized structure that can contain planets, stars, etc. It's from Halo, I think. Also, in a previous post on the last page, the Alien queen's acidic blood hit a wire that screwed up the dyson sphere sequence, thus encompassing multiple planets. I think...
Neku chose right then to speak up. "Hey, guys," he called out, "would someone mind explaining just who the hell all of you are, what you want with me and what language you're speaking?" He looked outside and saw another unfamiliar city below. "And for that matter, where we are?" he added.
In Mechas the three were chatting, "Well this is Frank West, Im Tomoya Okazaki and we are speaking english, and for the rest, I do not know why the hell we are here" Tomoya moaned, Tomoya then looks over to Neku "You speak english...and who are you anyway" Tomoya said.
Neku looked straight back at Tomoya. "I don't know anything..." he said. "Other than my name. Neku Sakuraba. Everything else is a blank...and even though I do know English, I didn't understand a word of what your friend said. Trio of awesome? Faceless...?"
A loud sigh came from Tomoya, "Yet I have to explain everything again, I will let Frank do the explaining since knows more", "Also nice to meet you" Tomoya says while smiling and extending his hand to Neku in the backseat.
Neku ignored the hand and shook his head. "It's fine," he explained, "I don't really care. I'll probably just have to pick everything up as I go." Although, he thought, much as I hate to say it, I'm pretty useless without a partner...heck, even Stalker would be better than nobody at all.
"Ugh," That was the only sounds that came out of Tomoya's mouth when Neku refused his handshake, retracting his hand Tomoya sighed, "Hey Frank so why are we here?" Tomoya asked the driver Frank.
"Frank...Fraaaaank" Tomoya looked into the driver seat to only see a sleeping Frank West, "Hey!" Tomoya said as he prodded Frank with his two electricity charged fingers, awaking from a bolt of electricity Frank jumped out of his seat and hit the roof, "AAAAH!" Frank yelled as he sat back into his seat.
"Ugggh" Tomoya said as he slumped back into his seat, Frank turned around and asked "Hey Tomoya, what's wrong?", "I lost too much energy from healing this non-friendly bastard!" Tomoya yelled as he looked at Neku, "What was that for!" Neku snapped back, "Ugh, sorry, I change when I lose too much energy, I need to absorb a source of energy" Tomoya said again as he looks outside.
Neku just blinked. "Don't blame me for not wanting to get too attached," he said, staring straight at Tomoya. "Other people are unnecessary. All the world needs is me. I've got my values," he looked around at all the others, "so you can keep yours, all right?"
"Fine I will, but an Angel has the best values" Tomoya spoke towards the blinking Neku, "Angel?" Neku questioned Tomoya, "It's a long story, I'm basically The Arch Angel Of Lightning, dont worry you will catch up, I really need to absorb a generator or something or otherwise Im not going to be useful" Tomoya reasons with the two.
