Carol cleared her throat
"You claim we are fools for following our hearts? our hearts are what makes us strong, perhaps it is you have been harmed in the ways of love and now reject it for fear of being harmed again."
Dillon made several shushing gestures
"Ok we got off on the wrong foot here, Carol this was essentially your fault so apologize to Puce, or are you to motivated by your hate?"
Carol stuttered before issuing an apology.
"Im sorry I attacked you, I Over reacted assuming you were manipulating your emotions
ANd I apologize for ccalling you a whore, I guess the outfit makes me look a certain way, but I'm not ashamed of my body so I don'; see why I should restrain it for others."
Carol then patted Kurumu on the shoulders in a sorta hug.
Dillon hoped they had luckily ironed out the anger.
"Now then I think we can all agree we may have so,e differences to iron over, but I feel that if we take a step back we'll realize we're in this together.
Now lets calm down, and would someone check my back I think the Demons claws caused an infection."

The dragon laughed this time, a bitter and hollow sound. "I will forgive your falicies for your youth. I am a being of fire and ash. Not wind. I knew others who were, they were not I. But your statement... There are many ways to break a world. To turn the sky red as blood:, and to unleash unholy, unimaginable, monstrosities unto the world. In my world and Caim's, it relied upon a Goddess. She was a mortal woman, charged with the fate of keeping the world from breaking, alongside three seals. The seals were broken by our enemies, and the Goddess murdered. Thus, our world was lost. The sky bled, and terrors came. The dead walked and the earth cracked with agony. We were lucky to escape."
She then turned to Carol, her face containing no malice. It looked angry, like one who finds that a truth was a lie.
"As for you, I will only say this. The one I mentioned before, the one filled with love."
The dragon seemed to spit the word out of her maw, and then continued, the bitter expression taking root again.
"He was the greatest part in all of the breaking. He took the Goddess for his own, knowing full well that her heart was in her duty. By taking her from sanctuary, he sealed our world's fate. For his 'love', the world lost. That is what following one's heart means to me. A dance of fools, for one and all. My fool follows his heart in his carnage, you, for your mates. It is a strange practice to me, and I do not think I will ever understand it. It is good to see you all get along, but I do not foresee my opinions changing about this 'love'."

The dragon awaited once more for a response.

Shadow waited in a corner of the room the heroes were all in. Seeing as how they had business with him and that they would be his next targets.... he decided to not mention he was going to shoot at them in the race. Although he did have a question for Calypso when the heroes were done talking to him.

Carol Sighed, she wasn't surprised that this creature rejected Love, and believed it was wrong to pursue it.
"Many lives have been ruined by Love, but isn't hate worse? the wish for happiness is at least more noble than a burning desire to cause pain. to follow one's heart is truly righteous, and I've lead the Star Sapphires well through my love and by listening to my heart, this boy would have lost his dear Love had he not decided to use it as a tool for great creation and destruction. If everyone stopped feeling love the world would be worse off, and what if everyone in the world learned to love everyone equally? surely this would be an ideal world to live in."

The dragon shook her head again, "Sapphire Carol, no human loves every human equally. If that were the truth, love wouldn't exist at all, would it?"
She then looked over Carol's back, examining the marks. Given her height, this wasn't much difficulty. They did not look too terrible to her, but after dealing with a man who got up from many fights regardless of his condition... Her judgement in this matter was flawed, but she'd never admit it.

The dragon cackled at the term, "Familial love is well and good, I can agree. But I have seen that taken to the extreme as well, to the point of perversion. But that tale, I will not expound upon. Caim would have our heads... If he didn't die from killing me first. Perhaps he'd smart to destroy the surrounding environs before suicide by stupidity..."

Giving a nod to Puce, the Lanterns, and Kurumu; the dragon flapped her wings and flew upwards towards her companions destination.

It had taken Calypso's people a while to find Youmu and Falcon after the balloon had crashed, and even longer to get them to the Calypso building. As such, the duo were surprised to find everyone out on the curb, though if the minions were similarly surprised they didn't show it. As they drove off, Youmu ran up to Tomoya and hugged him from having been apart for a while. Falcon simply stood in one place, looking over everyone, trying to identify them all.

Shadow was still watching the group but was now bored. He made made his fingers bend so his hand looked like a handgun, and the. Began to act like he was shooting each of them in the head.

Falcon looked over at Kagome's antics in Spectre, and started to wonder exactly how far she would take her current persona. He didn't know how Kagome was meant to act, but she had at least kept it consistent while he'd been able to track her, and not be subjected to her company - now, if she was still just being a 'hyperactive but innocent schoolgirl', it was going a little far. He decided to keep watching to see how long it would take for her to lose it.

Shadow laughed at the one who fell down the hill before helping him up it.

"Good think you stopped her" Shadow said as he put his 44 revolver away. " I would have been much more...... violent" he said with a hint of disappointment that he didn't get to shoot her.

 

[Knife-28]

Knife shakes his head as he watches the groups antics. 'Good god, we're not going to have to worry about any villains killing us at this rate.' He thinks, 'Reminds me of...home.' A twang of pain flys through Knife's heart, and he shakes the thought from his head.

As Kagome left the ladies' room, she saw Falcon standing outside. He started staring straight into her eyes, as hard as he could. "You're acting pretty psychotic, you know that?" he asked. "To act so completely cheerful just after you've gotten out of two major fights. Anyone else might think you were criminally insane."

Kagome pressed her shoulder against the corner of the wall, within the hallway that led to the bathrooms. She didn't want to honestly onto more suspicions but seems like her personality was just showing all to much. She would certainly have to behave.. at least for now.

[color=087830]"I'm sort of.. crazy, I know."[/color] Kagome sighed, but not sighing for saying she was crazy but rather having to come up with some excuse. She doesn't like having to come up with lies on the go, but she had no choice in this matter. [color=087830]"This contest got the best of me, I mean- a wish?! A wish could be anything.. and I will do anything to win it. Of course, Kurumu... she really got to me last round and I just want to eliminate anyone who's going to give me problems. It's just for fun, but my fun can seem crazy. You wouldn't understand.. would you?"[/color]

But with the last statement, Kagome bit her lower lip. She couldn't act snobby or a smart mouth, she had to really try. [color=087830]"So.. sorry, there I go again."[/color]

"You got pretty badly scratched during that little fight, too. You must be some kind of prodigy seamstress...Besides your speed, I can hardly see any seams there." He said it slowly and deadpan like he didn't believe what he was saying, that he knew it was a lie.

Falcon was thrown off by this. He started to stammer something, then stopped and sighed. "Assuming everything goes right, you may well see a balloon in the air tomorrow morning. Don't shoot at it, or I'll have a reason not to trust you." He started walking off, shaking his head. I can't believe you nailed me that easily...Don't expect that to hold.

Falcon looked into Kagome's eyes again, and this time seemed to be more caring in what he said: "That shouldn't be a problem for you."[footnote]Edit: I think this is quite possibly the best thing I've ever written.[/footnote] He resumed walking off after that, explaining that he needed to get his new formal clothes off Calypso because his tuxedo had been ruined. "I don't normally get airsick, but the stress of the balloon catching fire..."

Cortex spent the time looking around the CEO's Office, There was something in the air in here but he couldn't put his finger on it, though it kinda reminded him of Uka-Uka.
After a brief flashback of his time working with the Evil Witch Doctor Mask, he sat down on one of the nice leather chairs next to Calypso's deck.
He then peered over in hopes of finding something.

Calypso waited for a response to his offer. "So what say you?"

Cortex tied to make out something on Calypso's desk without looking like he was looking at it, making him appear cross-eyed.
