Cortex grabbed the flag and ran back to the launcher to fire the missile.
Then, a Sharp Pain filled his leg and he fell.
Turning he saw that his leg was cut badly and Sweet Tooth, Now so enraged his flames where now a pure blue.
"Calypso...You really outdid yourself this time...But you can't kill me Calypso, DO YOU HEAR ME! YOU CAN'T KILL ME CALYPSO!" He shouted as he wrestled the Flag from Cortex. "This year...Twisted Metal belongs to Sweet Tooth..."
Cortex crawled after him but there was nothing he could do, once the Clown Launched the Missile, His team would win the event.
As Tomoya awaited to be launched he heard the sick words of a clown behind him. As he gazed behind the missile, saw Cortex on the ground and the blue flamed clown. He immediately jumped up in surprise
"This year...Twisted Metal belongs to Sweet Tooth..."
He said as he gazed at the two about to launch the missile. "Like hell it does!" Tomoya yelled as he jumped on top of the missile and ran at the clown at a large speed and managed to kick the flag out of the unsuspecting Sweet Tooth's hand. It landed on the ground behind and in anger Sweet Tooth pulled out his weapons and so did Tomoya. Lightning flashed in the background as the two met.
Sweet Tooth (Or should I say Sour Tooth) Clashed his Machete with Tomoya's Sword, despite it's look, it was just as hard as the Angel's Sword.
The Two Blades locked and the fighters stared at each other, allowing Sweet Tooth to headbutt Tomoya in the face, Burning his face slightly.

As the fight raged on, Cortex managed to crawl over the to the flag, The wound on his leg cut an major blood vessel, he would bleed out in a few minutes.
"I'll Kill Him, I'll Kill you, I WILL BE THE GREATEST KILLER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!" Sweet Tooth shouted before ducking under the Launcher to avoid the missiles.

Cortex hugged the side of the Control Panel to brace himself for the Impact.
A ghostly apparition appeared infont of Cortex. "If you don't win this, i'll make sure you burn in hell!" she angrily said, but only cortex had heard. She chose to appear to him and no-one else. "Now get a move on before you die, understood?"
Cortex saw a bright light, She was pissed off.
He snapped back into reality as the missile barely missed him and began to climb the side of the panel, his size cursed him again.
Flag in hand he tried to slot it into the hole in the panel, but his hands were shaky...
As Tomoya and Sweet/(Sour) Tooth both ducked on both sides of the launcher, Tomoya felt a presence, he didn't give one cent of care because after the missilesm Sweet Tooth had already got on top of the missile and was about to jump onto Tomoya. Tomoya had heard the words of both men, wanting to drive his sword through them both.
As Sweet Tooth jumped down, about to hit Tomoya but instead he got a boot met with his mask instead. This caused a fracture of the mask, and Tomoya bounced straight up on his feet, "I sense a demonic presence in both of you. And it's my job to kill you!" He yelled in rage. Seeing through the pain of a boot to the face, Sweet Tooth charged with brute strength. His blade was covered with flames and was met with Tomoya's lightning katana. Both were battling it out to see who is better.
After the boot to the face, Sweet Tooth Did a self check, finding the crack. "My Face?...MY FACE! MY FUCKING SMILE!" He screamed before holding his Machete to his head and lighting it on fire before attacking in pure rage.
Despite Tomoya's Skill, Sweet Tooth had the strength advantage, causing the angel to fall and drop his sword after a powerful swing.
Sweet Tooth grabbed him by the neck and said "I! AM! NEEDLES! KANE! AND I THANK YOU FOR PLAYING! TWISTED! METAL!" He shouted as he went to finish the Angel off.

"No...Thank YOU!" Cortex Groaned as he finally got the flag in the slot and fired the missile.
Sweet Tooth Ducked and avoided a missile fin, but his baggy pants were caught on it and he was dragged off into the air with Tomoya in Hand towards Tidal Wave. "NOOOOOOOOO!! CALYPSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YOU CAN'T KILL ME!!!"
Cortex finally passed out as a female voice said "Thank you..."
"Aww shut up!" Tomoya mocked Sweet Tooth as he got held along with him. "You know what...I'm gonna leave now." Tomoya said to the flaming clown as he headed to the middle of the missile and decided to ride it like his friend Jack. Cowboy styled."WOOOOO HOOOOO." Tomoya yelled out whilst Sweet Tooth left an echoing cry. "Noooooooooooooooooo [sub]mooooommmmyyy[/sub]!!!".
The two switched yells until they got to the 150 meters until impact spot. Tomoya got up into a surfers position and looked back at Sweet Tooth. "I am Tomoya Okazaki, Lightning Archangel and thank you for playing LIFE! See you later asshole!" Tomoya commented to him in his last moment. "I'LL GET YOU ************ AND THESE DAAAAMNED PAAAAAAAAANNNNNNTTTTTSSSS..." Sweet Tooth cried out to Tomoya as he leapt off the missile with his wings sprouted and heard the cry drown out.
As Tomoya was getting out of the blast radius he saw Cortex. He landed on the island to see the man passed out. He shrugged as he picked the big headed man out of the sand and onto his shoulder as he flew quickly out of the blast radius waiting for the explosion.
Angelus dodged after the lariet; but found herself befuddled by the missiles once again. So the dragon didn't have to worry about Caim falling off; Caim jumped off with Hymir's Finger once again and clanged the robot's head with it once again. Angelus was having a time twisting around missiles; firing fireball after fireball to get them off her back.
Caim, on the other hand, had switched to Slaughterism again and was swatting the Transformer's head in an attempt to charge the magics in the blade. Lightning would do this robot ill; and Caim was hoping to have as much of it available as possible. That's when he noticed the rocket coming in.
"Oh hell."
Caim then jumped for the water's below; hoping to get as far away from the blast radius as possible. Angelus immediately dove downwards again to catch her human companion (something Caim was counting on) and the explosion's force knocked the dragon into the water as well. They were able to avoid any damage the rocket could cause, but now the task remained for Caim to find his dragon ally and get the hell out of the robot's range.
As the missile exploded, the shock waves were fell across the whole both islands. Tidal Wave was still standing, but the missile had done its damage, his chest was blown open, most of his launchers were now disabled. It was only a matter of time now till his fall.
Tomoya was able to rise the shockwave in a death-defying stunt.
Angelus frantically searched for her partner; and was pleased to find him flailing in the water. Gathering him up quickly; the two took to the skies again (albeit a bit messily; the dragon was not suited for water). The dragoness readied another homing barrage in her maw (desperately gathered with the few bits of magic she could gain from the missiles); and let loose: with Caim pouring out the last bit of Slaughterism's magic with her. The homing missiles hit their mark; and lightning rained upon the Transformer once again. With tired huffs from both partners; the dragon winged around to see what was left of the transformer.
Angelus twisted and turned; firing at the missiles every which way. Caim; taking up Hymir's Finger once more, urged the dragon toward's the robot's core. The dragon roared a protest; "Caim, you'll kill us both!" "How many times have you told me this, dragon? Remember the Wyrm?"
With another roar; the dragon shook her head, mentally cursing her fate (for the umpteenth time) for making a pact with a fool and dove headfirst into the fray; letting her fires carve a path for Caim's jump. It was a difficult array; but the two had seen far worse. Hey, one can handle fighting airborne monstrosities in a homeworld, missiles should be no problem. As the two flew inward; Caim positioned himself to be launched by the dragon; Hymir's Finger ready in his hands.
Upon reaching the desired airspace, Angelus let forth a great roar; and used her wings to stop her movement. This launched Caim like a cannonball at the core of the robot, and Caim jabbed his favorite switchout sword into a glowing apparatus (which Caim supposed was the thing's core) with a nice and heavy *THUNK*. Unfortunately; Caim was having a time trying to remove the sword from the robot. That was when our "hero" noticed that there some form of tilting going on, and saw the water was quickly rushing his way. "Well damn it all. The Gods hate me, it's official."
The dragon roared for fear of her ally; and attempted to swoop down to gather the man; but to no avail. The robot plunged backwards into the water; creating a large splash (and a subsequent false rain that followed soon after it). The robot was then falling apart, the pieces that composed it were disconnecting now that the robot's life force was gone.
[HEADING=1]TIDAL WAVE DESTROYED![/HEADING]
The dragon did a flying sweep over the wreackage; calling out to her mad, idiotic, and foolish partner. When she did find him (upon listening to his mental calls for help); he was flailing a good ways away from the wreckage; the force of the crash dislodging Hymir's Finger (and Caim) and throwing him across the ocean.
Caim looked relieved to see the dragon; and 'said', "That was glorious! AH! Ugh... I"m going to be sore in the morning..." He indicated to his shoulders and legs; which were worked pretty hard during the battle. A hearty laugh escaped the dragon; and she scooped him out of the water.
Tomoya punched the air as the Robot fell.
"YEAH! WOOOOOO! ALRIGHT CAIM! oh jeez..." He groaned as the Robot lived up to it's name sake and a massive Tidal Wave swept over the island.
He quickly mounted Lighting Cutter and got out of harms way before it hit land with the force of a Tsunami, had this fight been on a populated Island, the death count wouldv'e been massive.
Youmu didn't know how she'd managed to spend so long inside Calypso's building. She'd badly lost track of the time, and when she finally managed to speak to Calypso about it, he'd said everyone else had moved on. He was nice enough to show her where the exit was, though, and said he'd arrange something to get her back in touch with the others.
As Youmu (sorry for the misspelling earlier) left the building, Preacher was waiting to speak to her. "Listen to me my Child! You must help me tear down this evil contest. You know where the Final Event will be yes?" There was a hint of desperation to his voice.
