In the middle of Slindis's next question Kalastryn waits at the door for a moment before interjecting, "excuse me Slindis, I was just wondering if there was anything in specific I could assist with... that and I was going to take stock of the medicines we have available." she turns to Teri, looking maybe a little imposing with the horns and tail, though not deliberately trying to. she walks over to one of the medicine cabinets and opens it, finding it entirely empty except for 1 bottle of "Tylenol". She sighs and turns to Teri "well your a new face, I take it from the clothing that Slindis took up an apprentice... so..." she turns back to Slindis an willingly volunteers to help with Teri's training with, "Any idea how I might be able to help with that?"

Teri nodded, and her tablet spoke:
Code:
"Your are correct in your assumption. My name is Teri, and I am training as a Cleric of God, or at least, the God of Christian belief. Pleased to make your acquaintance Ms...?"
As her question was asked, the girl had extended her hand to shake Kalastryn's. The tiefling could hear no malice in the young girl's words; and felt an air of comfort about her. It was unusual to meet a member of the clergy that did not attack a tiefling on sight; and for that she was thankful.

"Kalastryn D' Zannifer... Let me tell you something, I'm glad your not like the heavy-headed clerics back home. I believe Slindis actually sent someone from her own church back to be fully retrained, perhaps even more harshly than his first training course, for making a hasty decision to try and kill me... not that he'd have gotten far unless he had a protective spell or three against fire... of course, then again he did utilize a rather crippling curse on me, that I'm thankful I managed to get out of quickly." she says as she ponders whether or not to be open about exactly what that was... but decides to get back on topic. "anyway, I'd be more than happy to try and assist with your training if possible." she says with a small bow of her head.

Kalastryn's appearance gave Slindis an idea, and the Paladin immediately stopped the review. [color=c20000]"Kalastryn, thank you for volunteering to aid in Teri's training. Both of you, follow me!"[/color] By this point, Teri recognized the tone in her teacher's voice and winced mentally. She was going to put the both of them through the wringer and Kalastryn didn't even know it.

When they approached the Training Hall, Slindis heard loud bangs coming from one of the rooms to her right. She cautiously opened it the man's dependence on that that odd gun of his. [color=c20000]"As amusing as attacking defenseless objects is, I believe that I could use your help in some training. Would you agree to come along?"[/color] Teri noticed that Slindis talked with the man in a much calmer tone, prompting the thought that maybe she was wrong about her initial thoughts on the upcoming training.

"More training?"

The girl gave a soft sigh as they wandered down the hallways in silent, but grave anticipation of what her teacher was going to throw at them next; and hoped that it wouldn't involve the arrows and poles again.

However, upon hearing Slindis' words for the marksman, she couldn't help but wonder what was to come next from her teacher. She was an unpredictable woman when she entered what Teri had dubbed "Teacher Mode".

Beijing

A red headed man plucked a few strings on his instrument as a doleful song strained from his throat; an empty case for said instrument laying open for money of pitying passerby. Even if the locals could not understand the language coming from the man, the tone was more than enough to epitomize a tale of melancholy, with hints of despair.

If there was one thing Inuart had benefited from the breaking of the pact; it was the fact that he could earn himself a little bit of money with his old gifts. It was enough to feed him, at least. As for finding shelter... that was the harder part of the deal.

Fionn was practicing his trick shots as the group re-entered the training room. He had conjured up an impromptu firing range with several dummies in different equipment, ranging from Paladins and Knights to Musketeers to SAS operatives all at different ranges. There was a light fixture made up to illuminate dummies when Fionn was to shoot them.

[color=c20000]"As amusing as attacking defenseless objects is, I believe that I could use your help in some training. Would you agree to come along?"[/color]

He turned to face Slindis, throwing his left hand over his shoulder to shoot the helmet (and head) off of a dummy in full Knight get up. "Well of course I could lend a hand, anything to help around here!" He leaned over to one side to stick his arm below his right leg for another shot, blowing apart another target. "I just need to practice my aim, that's all. You don't just start practicing complex maneuvers and techniques without brushing up on the basics now do you?" He walked over to the computer and tapped a few buttons. The Dummies transformed into what they represented. A group of Musketeers, Knights, Gunslingers, Assassins, Mages and other Warriors now stood on the other side of the room, ready to charge Fionn. He walked over to face them, his expression and stance now becoming still and determined. He noted Sandy was empty. "Computer, begin program".

He began to load Sandy at in insane rate, to the observers it was almost as if his hand didn't move between points. Once the last two shells were loaded, he cocked the shotgun with one hand. As the warriors began their assault on the Gun-Sword Mage, he how held Sandy to his hip. He started his barrage, firing and loading shells at lightning speed, each shot hitting their intended target. First the Mages fell, then then those wielding firearms, then the rest. By the time Sandy ran empty, the whole mob was now either dead or incapacitated. He walked back over to Slindis, holstering Sandy and folding his arms, "So, what are we learning today?"

The Musician played on until he saw a man in some kind of red military uniform and what appeared to be his....Blue-skinned lizard son, wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
They were watching another street act, a human statue not far from him.
"......I'm telling you, He'll move sometime." Bruiser said as he tried to prompt some movement by throwing peanuts at it
[color=6C1504]"That is what you said half an hour ago! If he was going to move, he would have done it by now! Now come on, we need to find this man."[/color] Bison said as the duo departed, the statue giving them the finger behind their backs as they walked off.
"Still don't see why the hell we've been sent out. I mean, aren't we supposed to be stopping Tom-io-ya?
[color=6c1504]"Tomoya. Even if hell freezes over, It'll be business as usual for Viscus. Bloody slave driver..."[/color]
They walked over to another street proformer and Bison asked [color=6c1504]"You there. Have you seen this man?"[/color] before bringing up a photo of the Musician.
He pointed over to Inuart and they walked over.
"....Really?....This is it? A fucking guitar player? THIS was what was so important?!" Bruiser pouted, he could be bugging Cortex for Steroids right now.

Inuart continued to pluck the strings of the guitar even after the duo appeared before him. Taking in the man with the military uniform; the bard said in rough Pekingese,
「"I'll have you know officer, this street has no restrictions on performers. In fact, it is encouraged; as fuel for the tourist industry."」

He fished a small booklet out of his rear pocket, and held it up,

「"Now, I'm not the best at this language, but I get by. I have a passport, I am legally a citizen. Now, if you have no other qualms with me; I only ask you leave. I've a livelihood to make; and you two aren't helping."」

Bison and Bruiser looked at each other as Inuart answered in some strange Asian language.
[color=6c1504]"....Did you understand anything he just said?..."[/color]
"What the hell you looking at me for? I thought you were the "Asian Warlord". Bruiser sneered as he stared at the Musican.
[color=6c1504]"There a a reason why I changed the spoken word to English....[/color] Bison sighed, recalling better days
[color=6c1504]Right....Lets try this again: ARE...YOU...INUART?....WE.....LOOK....FOR YOU........"[/color] He said, Very slowly as Bruiser looked into his guitar case.
"...Slim pickings eh?...I wonder why..." He insulted as Bison tried to reach out to him.

Inuart was about to yell at Bruiser's comment about his money, when he realized what language they were speaking in,

"Common? It's been some time since I've heard that. Sorry, gentlemen, I thought you were more of those irritating officers... Anyway, yes I am Inuart."

He put away his passport; and continued to strum the guitar, "Now what do you want? And please, get your son..? Away from my earnings, please. I'd rather not starve."

The paladin's face was fairly stoic as she watched the flashy display from the man.[color=c20000]Impressive, but how would he fare against something else? Not to mention that once he runs out of ammunition, he'd lose that range advantage completely.[/color]

Slindis smiled pleasantly. [color=c20000]"If I went and told you, that would ruin the point of the training. Now then, will you add your expertise here?"[/color] Before the man could respond, she slowly started making preparations for the next bout of training. [color=c20000]"If you're going to decline, I would advise that you leave shortly. Otherwise, you'll be in for it as well."[/color]

[color=6c1504]"Oh, you CAN speak english? Good, I was worried we'd be here a while..."[/color] Bison said relieved as Bruiser backed away.
"Okay 'oh mighty ruler' Give him the pitch." He said as he pulled out his PDA to call for Evac.

[color=6c1504]"Put simply, We are members of a specialist group, one that has a reach no one can escape from, One that ensures that the machine that is our mad world keeps ticking, One..."[/color] He paused as he pulled out a roll of 100 yuan notes, more then Inuart made since he came to this world.
[color=6c1504]"...With very deep pockets."[/color] He smiled, showing off his white eyes, before lobbing it into the Case.
"It's a job offer, Chad Kroeger. Some wonderful mechanical god has smiled upon you. Pently of killing, Maiming, extortion, Blackmail, Gun Running, All kinds of good stuff. Besides, like you're going to earn anything near as much in a dump like this...." the Machop said as he walked off to the side of the road and flagged down a white unmarked van.
[color=6c1504]"So....Will you join us?..."[/color]

Inuart's eyes widened at the sight of the money, and quickly put the guitar back into the case. From a box hidden under some newspapers, he pulled out his shoulder armor and sword and quickly strapped them in.

"Done. Anything to get out of this cesspool. Funny, never thought I'd enjoy making a living as a mercenary. But, beggars can't be choosers!"

Grabbing the guitar case, Inuart eagerly followed the two men into the van, and asked, "Who are you people anyway? Why did you come looking for me?"

Kalastryn thought for a minute at the display Fionn launched against his "attackers" ... "A rather impressive weapon to be sure... but, is the man wielding it equally impressive when it's not in his grip? Not to insult you, but it seems such a display of skill against your targets is made possible by the weapon you carry... would you be able to do the same unarmed, or up close with an opponent?" she asks with as tender words as she can while getting the point across, so as not to insult Fionn.

Welcome to the Cartel
Inuart was brought inside the unmarked van, but this being Bison, one used to the finer things in life back went he was ruler and not a henchman....

(This but fitted for a Transit Van)
[color=6c1504]"Take a seat and we'll talk."[/color] Bison ordered as the Van took off down the streets of the city.
[color=6c1504]"My Name is Master Bison, M. Bison for short. And this is my co-worker Bruiser. He's older then he looks."[/color] He said as he took off his hat and laid it down on the seat next to his.
"'Son'? Tsh, the nerve of some people...." He said in Mock(?) offence.
[color=6c1504]"Our organisation is in a state of transition at the moment and looking to expand. We were sent to find you so here we are. Not sure why though to be honest, Management never tells us anything these days..."[/color] He sighed, recalling his glory days back in the first cartel.
"I dunno, Perhaps he can Sing people to death? Hehehehah, just a joke mate, just a joke..." Bruiser added as he opened a cooler and pulled out a beer.
"Question: You have any out-standing debts or anything? People who'd notice you gone, that sort of thing? because you ain't coming back any time soon."

"Somewhat aloof until class begins I see. Don't worry about me, I'm ready for whatever you can throw." He may not be prepared for the unknown, but he was ready to face it anyway.

"Well, that's only one object from my bag of tricks. The key is fast reflexes. Besides, Its a weapon intended for pointblank."

"A projectile weapon meant to be used at the closest range possible? What Nimrod thought of that? I thought the point of weapons like that were to keep a distance. You might as well just have a sword, with reflexes like that, I doubt many could stand toe to toe with you." she says, unfamiliar with the way this new world had evolved from the "swords and sorcery" she once knew.

Did I mention, Ka CHING?!
Inuart frowned, but decided to ignore the prattling child; "None would notice my disappearance. You can probably tell, but I am not even from this world. The only others who are from where I was are either dead, missing or...."

His teeth gritted for a moment, and as the bard rubbed his temples, he said, "At odds with me. Heh, I bet Caim and that damned dragon have taken me for dead. But that's fine. Let them wallow in their falsehoods. All that matters is that I can see her again. With them suspecting me gone, that gives me time to accomplish that."

Slindis nodded as the last of the specifications were put into the training room simulator. [color=c20000]"After I leave, this training will not be complete until only you three remain in here."[/color] With that, she left the room as the temperature soared to an uncomfortable 104 degrees Fahrenheit, (40 degrees Celsius) and the sounds of multiple flapping wings. The trio turned around to see six impish looking creatures wreathed in flames led by what Kalastryn immediately recognized as a fire elemental.

[color=c20000]"Begin."[/color]

*Spits Drink*
The second Inuart brought up Caim and Angelus, Bruiser spat out his drink, soaking part of the carpet at his feet.
"Wait, You know Toots and the Mime!?!?" He shouted in disbelief as Bison shook his head.
[color=6c1504]"Oh great, here he goes..."[/color] he sighed, starting to grow tried of his comrades obsession with that blasted dragon and everything she did.
"Caim and Angelus, whew, I could do on for days about those two. But I won't, but I could. How you know them?" He asked as Bison busied himself with arranging a transport to the base.
