We have bots now? If so, I guess that I'll test my theory out. I'm glad that I thought that idea up!
Indeed we do, and if I may say, they make badge hunting a bit too easy. But that´s just me.

And I too am glad you thought that idea up; It´s a great idea. Congratulations!
Quick question: how does one challenge the bots? Are they just in the warzone, or is there some special way to fight them?

The bots come in two types: regular cannon fodders and a few special bots with names. The special ones are always in the warzone (I believe Rex and Long John Silver, to name but a few, are one of those) and the regular ones are listed separately at the bottom of the warzone (there are challenge buttons for easy, normal and hard bots.) You just need to press the "Attack"-button, as usual. Happy hunting!

Thanks for the info guys, I've updated the OP.

I gave that "certain amount (of victories?) in a certain time"-theory a shot, and it worked. To get the Berserker-badge, you need to be reckless and relentlessly attack everyone in sight. It doesn´t have to be the same opponent every time. Those new bots we have make this pretty easy, since they are always there.
Did you definitely not fight the same person? Just want to check so I can get it right in the OP.

Well, I fought against the bots, but they were different bots every time. Once gwhardbot, twice gwnormalbot (in a row) and then those special hard bots (Rex, Long John, and what have you.) I never fought the same special bot twice in a row. I believe this qualifies as not fighting the same opponent. You can always wait and see what Scotth266 finds out, if he´s doing his own experiments.

I've been busy maintaining my E3 conference thread, but I'm glad to see that you got the badge. The only real way to test this though is to line up a bunch of people who are willing to be stomped on. We don't know if all the unnamed bots are treated as individual identities...

So, if anyone's willing to help the testing, after the E3 stuff is over, I'd like some volunteers for a experiment. Incredible Bullshitting Man, how many bots did you fight exactly? You should still have the records, provided you haven't cleared your inbox.

8 bots. I did clear my inbox, but I remember having 300 battles before I began and 308 when I was finished. I´m pretty sure the unnamed bots are considered as one entity, but the named ones are all different individuals.

No rush with this. I´m quite sure we have this one figured out. It just needs confirmation, but that can wait.

EDIT: Oh, wait! Just remembered, after acquiring the badge I kept on fighting, so the required number of fights isn´t 8. The funny part is, I can´t remember exactly how many times I fought afterwards. The badge requires around 5-8 battles. And I didn´t return to home base between fights.

I did my own expirement yesterday, I beat Todd the T1000 10 times in a row but I didn't get the berserker badge. I also know it's possible to get badges against bots because i got my jackpot badge against a bot.

I think there´s one other, who also has it. Maybe it´s just an upgraded version of the Unconquerable-badge. Just guessing.

Maybe we need to kill Barry93 to get it.
In genre wars, not in real life, no not literaly.

That actually sounds viable. And it passes on to the champion who defeats him.

However, there is a flaw. After all, he could just keep the badge by quitting Genre Wars altogether, which is quite the opposite to the games' intentions.

That's what I thought at first, but Delmar told me that you win A LOT of battles in a row to get it; essentially a more advanced Unconquerable badge.

I just beat todd the t1000 4 times without returning to the base so it's got to be 5-8.

Ok,I know exactly how to get Berserker. You must defeeat 5 opponents in the Warzone without returning to your home base. Well that only took 2 months to figure out.

Also, I got all 25 genre war badges!

Yeah, thought so. Just 4 would have been too easy.

I believe there´s also a time limit involved, but I have no idea, how long it is. I don´t think it leaves a lot of time to think. I just hit the first red challenge button, that caught my eye, at soon as the previous fight was over. However, if there is no time limit, then the Berserker badge is just an upgraded Resilient badge.

EDIT: Oh, never mind.

Definitely nothing to do with time periods then? I'm pretty sure someone said they got it and returned to base a few times :/ He still might have had at least five without returning though. Gah, it's so hard to test this one specifically. I'll just put that for the time being until somebody calls me out on it.

And congratulations :)

Like Incredible BS man said, it's probably just an upgraded Resilient badge just like Invincible is an upgrade of Unconquerable.

Well, it's confirmed that you just have to win a TRUCKLOAD of battles in a row to get Invincible: Oracle has it as well. He also says that you can return to base and still get the badge.

Time for some bot grinding I guess: having that Highlander quote will be well worth it.

Oh, and I suppose I'll test Berserker while I'm at it: I'll challenge the same bot twice a day for a week or so starting today to test if it's the repeater method. If that doesn't get me the badge, I'll go for the balls-out berserker rage.
