The costumes were incredible. The mechanics in half of them look like they took an engineering degree to design.

Although for "DRAGON"-con, I think I only saw one dragon. Wtf?

I love Dragon*Con, but I've missed it for the last few years (damn money concerns). Still its nice to see it is still going on. They need more Con's in the south cuz I can't afford to hit up even PAX East

Dragon*Con is the best! Between the costumes, the panels and the fact I can walk there from where I live its totally awesome. Its a highlight of the Fall Semesters.
I wonder if there is footage of the parade also?

Yes, tomorrow there will be a cut of some of the best panel moments(there are some great ones) and then the day after is the parade.

Those were certainly by far the best collection of 'con cosplayers that I have ever seen. I'm still not entirely sure which is my favourite, but at least the Wolf O'Donnell guy refrained from saying "I can't let you do that!".

EDIT: In fact, sod it, Wolf was my favourite.

But yeah, that was an awesome con. Managed to almost find an entire TF2 team, just missing a spy and demoman. The steampunk heavy was awesome.

I actually live in Georgia and about 30 minutes outside of Atlanta. I was fortunate enough to actually go this year after 3 years of missing it due to money issues. I only went on Saturday, but the costumes at the con are always top notch. There were a ton of Fallout and TF2 costumes this year and the parades for the different themes was excellent. Also bought a full Dreamcast set at one of the vendors for 20 bucks. All in all, it was a good Saturday. I was the dude with the Voivod shirt on if anyone saw me BTW.

I didn't see the Guyver though...but If I had, you bet I would had hounded him for a picture.

Oh and I guess greetings to thee, Escapist! I've been lurking around the site for about 3 years and this finally got me to posting. Feels good to finally be apart of the community
