Yeah that was pretty much my reaction, you could see a few good looking women but some of the costumes were not right for them.

But the guyver costume was actually amazing! well done to whoever made it, also I want it, could go hunting in that suit!

I practicaly started singing the guyver theme song when I saw it.

By my estimation, about 2/3 of the people at DragonCon in any given year show up in costume, and most of them are awesomely done.

And regarding the name of the convention, it's actually named after the ancient computer that hosted the BBS that most of the planning for the first one took place on, way back when.

Holy shit. I'm actually impressed at the overall quality of most of the costumes.

For something named Dragon*Con I was expecting to see, well, dragons. What I saw instead was one of the best TF2 costume combos ever. I'm happy.

Wow. A great many of those were really impressive.

I wouldn't have minded seeing someone from the Escapist, even non-costumed, however briefly. Who will I know who went?

It was just me and the video camera. So it would have been rather difficult to film myself.

Oddly enough you may have caught me somewhat briefly through a number of those. Recognize a lot of them from when I went.

Granted I'm just another fat white nerd in an ocean of overweight pastiness. I also don't really count cause I'm a humble contributor.

Next year I'm thinking of cosplaying for the first time as the engineer from tf2.
