I was kind of hoping it's have the "it's so bad it's good" appeal to it. It seemed like it'd be fun to see all those "bad enough dudes" mashed together, probably with a good dose of obvious cliches.

People take reviews from the papers seriously? What???! Last time I saw a papers review on anything it was Kick Ass, and the reviewer couldn't get past the fact that a 12 year old said "****" during the film and went on a massive raging fit about the fact for half a page. He also marked every other film released that day down to 2 stars at best too, even the good ones.
So yeah, don't listen to anything that anyone tells you, or at least not from the morning papers.

Seriously, lots of people have forgotten what films are about. Too many people including many on this website are too busy trying to be well.... In a word "chic", yes its a word aimed mainly at fashion but what i by it is:
Films are supposed to be entertaining, i watch films because they entertain me. There are very few films i feel an innate need to pick flaws with and say, "zomg, that'd never happen" or something to that effect. This is why i never ever read any review on any film by someone who is not looking to be entertained. Like for example the film "dude wheres my car?" it wasn't the greatest, but it made me laugh, parts made me cringe but all in all i was entertained and didn't feel like i'd just spent 2 hours of my life watching a clock. I know alot of people who don't like it, and fair enough, but when people start citing reasons such as "bad acting" or "poor special effects" i start to wonder what it is you're really looking for?
If you want to watch an awesome film that has no flaws whatsoever, answers most questions and genuinely takes someone to remind you that the lead is an actor, not the real guy. Then you are gonna be severely limited to films like Mesrine which is epic, but its that 1 in a million film which is.
I fully intend to watch it, the die hard, terminator, crank, transporter etc etc series all entertained me, and now theres a film combining all of them? Sounds good, unplausible story? check. Over masculine cast? Check. A tonne of explosions? Check, sounds like a fun film for me and the boys to go and see with a beer. An evening of entertainment? Highly likely!

news paper reviewers are never ones to trust my friend from where I am they never reviewed predators and I went to see it and loved it I'm sure it'll be a good movie just remember don't set expectations too high on story it's an action movieForensicYOYO said:

I'm not seeing it, but I kind of want to. Mainly because the trailer included the word "Mangasm."
