i always end up being good even if i set out to be evil

i think i might be the one person to let you go, if you said "hey let me go"

EDIT: it builds up a layer of confidence with others so i can strike when most they are most vulnerable MUHAHAHAHA

Unlikely. Plenty of people acually prefer being the good guy. Plus there ARE people who would rather be a bounty hunter.
Bounty Hunters are Sith, just saying.

I thought the problem was everybody would side with the Jedi. I guess picking the side history knows will lose out is fun?
You'd get more power, but less control.

It's usually 50/50. People moaned about WoW. "Everyone will be alliance." Didn't happen.
People moaned about APB. "Everyone will be criminals" it's roughly 50/50. It works.

YOU CAN BE A BOUNTY HUNTER!?
Yup! They're on the Sith side, their equivalent of the Trooper - aka, frontline Class, with all the fun abilities (arm rockets, flamethrowers, ect).

I'm planning on being a Bounty Hunter myself.

Doubt it, Troopers are quite popular, and everyone loves Jedi Knights and Consulars. I'm playing Sith but I know lots of people are playing Republic from the forums. Also every class has a different story, so i'll eventually play them all :)

My biggest concern about TOR is the potential that the emphasis on your character's narrative could make grouping up less appealing.
You should stay tuned for Comicon in weeks or so. BioWare are hosting a panel named "Beyond Solo: Crafting the Multiplayer Story in Star Wars: The Old Republic".

The game is set 3000 years before the movies, so Sith are allowed to win at a lot of things, also Star Wars continues after the movie for centuries(well after Luke Skywalker dies), through comics and novels.

I think it's fatal flaw is that it completely ignores the KoTOR series, KoTOR 2 especially. It's most glaringly obvious in the trailer when it talks about how Revan met the Sith Empire in the outer regions. Anyone who's played KoTOR 2 will know that that's bullshit because when you talk to Kreia about Revan, she says that Revan 'met no Sith Empire yet learned their teachings'. I just refuse to accept this one as canon, the same way I find that Star Trek Online's "plot" is just a contrived excuse to have you killing every red blip on sensors, no questions asked.

Yeah, but KOTOR 2 was made by Obsidian.
KOTOR 1 and TOR are both made by Bioware. You know, the better RPG maker?
Revan did meet the Sith Empire, though. Not directly, but he went to Korriban to the ancient temples. So while he didn't meet any real sith, he did search and learn through the temples. Doesn't that count?

I'll have Bounty Hunter and Sith. Don't worry, they'll know this flaw and fix it by AWESOME JEDI SKILLS!

I personally think the Old Republic's greatest flaw is that it's a MMORPG. I might try it anyway though, I do have a soft spot for BioWare games.

I think you're a bit confused by the lore. Kreia may have said that and maybe that's what she thought(she can't actually KNOW can she?). In "Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide" and the Timeline video for TOR it's confirmed he met with the Sith Emperor and he orchestrated the collection of the Star Maps to make way for the return of the True Sith. All of this is courtesy of Lucas Arts and has to be personally okayed by George Lucas..

And Kreia is the most trustworthy source around?
