Moral nihilist over here so nothing is a sin?

If I had to choose I'd say either hipocrisy or violating 'The Golden Rule', which are closely related actualy.

i think rape also
theft is nothing compared to murder/ rape
murder at least ends quick but rape can not been reasoned or justified ever
murder can though i disagree with any justification of it
Murder? Being quick? You can EASILY make that go slow.
what i meant to say is that you die at the end whereas wih rape you are scarred for life
soz

I guess... but murder is still as bad as rape.

In all seriousness, rape. Murder can be justified on rare occasions, rape cannot be justified ever.
This is exactly how I feel. There can be shades of grey to a murder, but never to a case of rape.

I'ma go with pedophilia.

Usually I'd come up with some carefully thought out explanation, but this one is pure gut. I think rapists in general are scum, but I'm usually the first one to champion due process and rehabilitation. I think every man deserves his day in court, and that jail is an appropriate punishment for crimes, and a man who has served his time deserves a second chance.

On the other hand, I genuinely believe that pedophiles should be fed through a meat grinder. They are the only criminals who I could totally justify killing in cold blood and not lose a single second's sleep over it.
I'm sure I'll get shit for this but paedophilia is not a crime
You fucktard of course it's a crime! If you had been molested as a child, I bet you wouldn't be saying that!
pedophilia is not a crime child molestation is pedophilia is a mental condition that causes sexual preferances in minors something which only in the last few hundred years became a crime subjective morality. Crime and condition are not the same thing you cant arrest a man jsut because he is sexualy attracted to minors if he acts on that in anyway then by todays laws then yes its a crime, its a phycholigical things thta some peole cant help working with the mentaly I'll I understand thta better than most ever will I personaly prefer asian women jsut by todays standards interaccial relationships are not a crime anymore.

Think your points through before you make sweeping statments genious.

After reading alot of these posts it's come to Rape and murder being neck and neck with good reason. I would place rape as a higher sin though because it can cause more concentrated damage than murder.

Killing another person, deliberately. This includes killing someone in response to a crime (I'm definitely against the death penalty. It makes us accept murder in another form with the added bonus of hypocracy in many cases). Many people hold rape as a fate worse than death. While I've never been raped, and thus can't say for certain, I believe death to be worse. This isn't to say that rape is not among the most horrific things a human can inflict upon another, but there's a chance a person can recover from that. Even if they don't, they're still alive. Every rape victim I've ever seen has, to one extent or another, pulled their lives together into at the bare minimum a livable state. The number of people who've recovered from death on the other hand...

Murder, obviously, robes you of even the chance of putting yourself back together. A case could be made for other crimes that tears a person apart so completely that they're no longer even KIND of themselves. Before rape is pointed out as a specific case of that, only in the most extreme cases is a person so mentally destroyed. I'm talking inducing a vegetable state, a more extreme version of a lobotomy etc. Rape victims are still themselves, just with (usually) an extreme emotional scar.

Sin is a violation of morality. You don't believe in morality?
"Morality" is defined by where you were born and in what conditions you were born. You might say killing is bad now, but if you were born in unfavorable conditions and you had to fight and even kill for food, killing wouldn't seem that bad. But if there was food for everybody and you would NOT have to fight over it you would deem killing for survival has bad. Again, your own morality is defined by the conditions you were born into, so there's no such thing has a "violation of morality" because there's no such thing has morality. It's simply your survival instincts telling you what to do.

To add something to the topic: Personally I deem rape has the worst thing a human being could go through.

Yes. I think that it should carry the death penalty. Along with murder. Now, you said that murder is something we're used to. With all the genocides and pillages, witch burnings, we have to be used to it. But we can't be. You may not have cared about that young girl thought to be a witch being burned, but someone hundreds of years ago did. You may not care about all those people who died between all the wars: But someone did. No one will ever not care about a loved one's death. Thus, someone will always be fighting for the punishment of murderers.
I personally don't like the death penalty, not because I'm a humanitarian or anything, mainly because I think it's the quick and easy way out, I think people who rape and murder(Murder without a good amount of justification) or anything around that area should be thrown in a cell with no one there but him and given food slid underneath the door for the rest of his days, the slow and horrible way out to suffer for what they did.

Personally I think Rape is the worst or child rape, Murder can be justified.

Also just to add I haven't seen the word Homosexual in this thread or anything that implies that it's a sin so congratulations posters you've restored a little bit of faith back into humanity (Btw I'm straight just don't like the ignorance of people thinking Homosexuals are " Dick eating faggots who will burn in hell for there sins against God".)

Morality is an objective set of terms, whether you're willing to admit it or not. Right and wrong do exist. Killing is wrong. It's incredibly simple. The only reason someone would want to muddy such an absolute is because they intend to violate morality. I know that's impossible for you to fathom. You've trained your mind to believe that there is no such thing as absolutes. But, "sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken." Telling this to yourself doesn't change the fact.

And, please, go ahead and say that this is an elementary train of thought. I'll giggle at it.
