I was amused when the LTD in Men in Black 2 was controlled by a PS2 dual shock controller. And it wasn't even disguised well.

Does that count?

"Daemon something" from grandmas boy, funny as hell but oh so poor name dropping.
That was Demonik, was going to be a real game but they stopped getting funding for it.
Also in Big Bang Theory they have an episode where they play World Of Warcraft, all correct except the item he get's, 'The Sword of Azaroth'.

You're right: that's not a 360. That's a space station.

(It was the first thing I thought when I saw the title. It had to be done - plus I finally had a relevant excuse to link to the Red Ring of Death Star.)
Yes lol. It shoots its laser at a planet and fries all the ps3s lol
Because the red ring o death sooooo effects the ps3...brillant logic right there...

Anywho i remeber watching some show where a kid says hes playing the "new" Final Fantasy which had Final Fantasy II music while he held a 360 controller and it flashed a scene of XIII...o the horror

I saw one on the disney channel. It made me tear out my eyes and replace them with cybornetic counterparts.

They were playing on a nintendo 64...
With no game inserted....
With pacman sounds but yelling about taking cover...
Playing with wireless controllers......
Wireless playstation 1 controllers.....................
V_V

Come on, it's like they tried to fuck it up.

Aw, don't act like you've never had an imagination Christmas before? I got a pogo stick!
On topic, Reign Over Me featured Shadow of the Colossus, and Adam Sandler was playing it like a normal person... even though his character was slightly crazy. But it's got Don Cheadle, therefore the movie is saved.

I saw the Wizard, that really long commercial for Nintendo... In one scene the kid was mashing buttons during an obvious cutscene, and in about 4 seconds he "gets the highest score for double dragon ever" I wasn't aware you could get points in taht game during a cutscene... or at all.

Forget the movie, but there was some movie where two little kids sat down to play an XBox...while holding a PS2 controller...that had clicking buttons. I wept. One of the rarely noticed things the movie "Disturbia" did right, by the way. And possibly the beginning of Live Free or Die Hard, but I could be wrong there.
In Live Free or Die Hard there was a 360 and he was playing the original Gears of War
Uhm, whats wrong with that?, the original Gears of War was released on the Xbox 360, so that is actually correct.
Thats my point i was simply stating that he was correct. Sorry for the misunderstanding

When tv shows tend to involve gaming the end result could be best described as "3P1C PH41L"

"Didn't your mum ever buy you a Gameboy?"
"WHAT is a Gameboy?"

What's particularly jarring about that is that I highly doubt Gameboys existed when he was a kid.

On most films set in the future, they will have awesome fandangled technological doohickeys and teleportation devices and yet to make it all work, all they have to do is mash a random key in the middle of the keyboard. Not even the freakin enter key!

This reminds me in the video of "ridin' dirty" by chamillionaire hey raps about his girl holding a playstation controller while the video shows an Xbox controller. That's just insulting...

Reasons why the show, "Weeds" is awesome: +1.
Of course, that show does a lot of things right.
Hell yeah! That show rocks my socks!

*Ahem*

I remember a commercial about a "credit fairy", in which these two dudes were playing a console game that may or may not have been an Atari 2600 using what looked like PC USB controllers. It was tragic, to say the least.

On a different note, remember that part in Grandma's Boy when Covert and the chimp were playing Xbox and the T.V. wasn't even on? I still laugh like an idiot when I see that.

This isn't quite the same thing but it did frustrate me when i saw it. I believe it was the first series of heroes i was watching and the kid with the ability to repair/modify electronics just with the power of his mind and touch was playing on a Playstation 3. This was not a problem apart from the fact that the episode was set before the Playstations release. Okay, its not a major thing but, well, you know, people should just get these things right.
He was playing Heavenly Sword. I remember reading something about it. It was essentially an advertisement.
