Funny but I'm not sure if your making fun of the state of games or of the gaming doom sayers.

That'd suck, wouldn't it.
No, not really.

The games industry would be worse off without piracy.
Piracy may be bad but thank goodness for cracks, I don't want to play single player assassins creed 2 online. I think online always will either pass or want be noticed in 20 years because everyone will have a satellite connection to the internet. I think this forum is a bit over dramatic
This thread was made to be over dramatic.

This is all that I found out right now. I plan on doing another investigation quite soon. So, if you think gaming is bad, just be glad this isn?t happening to you. Till I report back, goodbye.
I think what we really want to know about the future is: have Valve released Episode 3 yet? :D
They did, but they released it in a 4 part mini series, each of which took 10 years to release. When I was in the future, they had only released two parts. XD

You should know that all the WoW players would unite and form a revolutionary army, operating in groups of twenty five or less, with a ton of yelling about "fuckin' noobs" and "fetch quests" and strategy involving their larger members "tanking" enemy bullets while the rest either heal or "DPS", by which they either use high powered rifles to put out large amounts of damage in single shots or chain guns to spray out as much death as possible and hope something hits. The chain guns would be called "AoE" weapons. They would run in to the government's primary city as a massive horde of gamers, running off in each direction and trying to get the best "loot". Whenever they killed a "boss", meaning a member of congress, the CEO of an offending gaming company, or the president, they would pull out their 20-sided die and "roll" for his fancy clothes, microphones, weapons or money, being considered his "loot".

Once done with their revolution, which would be referred to as a "Raid", and afterwards referred to as "The Great Raid of (insert year here)", they would leave the city and go back to the gaming from whence they came, only to return if another crisis befell the gaming world. They would be known in legend as either "The Horde" or "The Alliance", depending on which side of the battle you were on.

anyway:
3.All games are online. There is no such thing of a physical copy.
How is this a bad thing?
Some of us don't have good internets, never mind ANY internets at all.

Can't take the physical copy over to your friend's house and play it on their system, and you can't sell the used digital online only copy either. For whatever reason, if internet service is lost or bogged down, then there is no other options, you're screwed.

Dunno what your talking about. I just came back from the future and everything seems pretty fine. They let me try out Half Life 3, but said if I told anyone how it was, they'd send a lawyer back to sue me.
Ah,I also went to the future and played myself The Final Fantasy and felt that Square had finally worked out all the issues I had with previous installments...then they announced The Final Fantasy 2 and I felt that humanity was lost.

Also it's weird how they told you not to say anything about Half-Life 3,I was personally touched by the ending where Gordon Freeman sacrifices his life to save the world from that giant space fetus, the game wasn't that bad either.

Oh good. For a moment there, I thought you were another one of those doom-sayers. They're as bad as the 2012 people. It's crazy.
Oh man, these 2012 people are crazy themselves XD
And especially since 2012 the movie came out!

OT: This reminds me of 2012 parodies XD

I must be missing something. Has taking something that's annoying at best and blowing it out of proportion to the point of being ridiculous funny now?

Just seems silly, to me.

SNL has done this for decades
SNL does it better than this thread though. I usually love parody's, but this just... just no.

Edit:

Also, I swear SNL makes it so you watch it and you think "i could see some git trying that"

If you take the first few points and tone them down to a realistic level, you seem to be hinting at cloud gaming/computing, and could very well be the future. It could potentially solve a lot of problems with today's gaming.
like what? that the fact that us with crpapy internet are still able to game?

I jest, however as for piracy...what about being able to "hack-in" to somthing like that without paying?

also when your internet goes out.....

Maybe he was in some parallel universe future. That gives some hope.

Guys... we ARE talking about THE FUTURE here, right? You think you'll have shit internet forever?

But you can have him log his steam account or whatever and play it. As for internet speeds, see above.
I'm basically saying I would like to have even more options than just "online only".

SNL has had time to perfect their art. I wrote this up in about five minutes. Its hard to compare this with SNL, simply because SNL is verbal and visual. I wasn't asking you to like it.
