I can't believe this is a real thing.

Some guys on the internet set up a Indiegogo page, asking for $600,000 to buy an island and name it "Equestria" after the world of My Little Pony Friendship is magic.

So, will you donate money? Do you think the project could ever actually work?

So let me get this straight:
Some assholes want an island for themselves and if you donate enough money, you can even pay them to go visit it later?
In the very least, they should make it free for everyone who donated because they'll be the ones paying for this.

If this succeeds, I'm going to start a kickstarter to buy a mansion and turn in into the Cybertron or the Tardis (depends on which fanbase is willing to donate more).
Of course, everyone will be welcome... as long as they pay to get in.

Look, I'm a fan of the show (obviously) but this is just too far. Who in their right minds would donate to this. If it was a kickstarter for something official (like the documentary), that would be one thing, but this? This is just a bunch of overzealous fans going "hur hur, let's buy an island and name it equestria. That's sounds like a good idea"
