The Tricky part is the timing.... If you forget about the ground too early then you'll remember again and Physics doesnt like being taken advantage of...

"The Secret of Shambhala" by James Redfield....

The third and penultimate installment to a instantly classic spritual saga. A thoroughly enjoyable read. Precluded by "The Tenth Insight" and "The Celestine Prophecy"

Just as epic a trilogy as LoTR!
Yes, it's a trilogy; a bundled version of three other paperbacks.

The Hundredth Man by Jack Kerley.

I read them in the wrong order, but he's still an epic author.

EDIT - I really want to know if anyone here besides myself has read any work of his, I seem to be the only one who mentions him.

Last book I read...

I don't know if it counts as a book but it was "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri.
If not then it was "Flashforward".

Currently i'm reading "John Dies At The End" by David Wong. Awesome book.

I've just recently finished Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. A very gifted writer and of course the book that provided the inspiration for Bioshock.

The Hogfather by Terry Pratchett

i love the one bit where the wizard start shouting and charge down to the laundry to try and find the sock eating monster and then the guys still in the room go "Who were those people?"
"some of the cleverest men in the world."
it's some sort of thinking machine
but it's not actually intelligent
it just gives the impression of intelligence
like everyone else here

I've just finished reading World War Z. I thought it was an awesome book because it was between 20 & 30 zombie stories chucked into one book, with each of the stories dealing with different stages of a zombie out break. It dealt with how infection could have spread from country to country (ilegal transplants & human trafficing) to military response/failure all the way to taking back the planet(sorry if this is a miny review)

So what was the last book you read & what made it enjoyable for you... or even what made it crap for you?
I read it recently too. I loved The Zombie Survival Guide, but I was a bit skeptical about World War Z. Luckily, it turned out to be a great book.

But the latest book I read is Samurai William. I just finished it today, and it's about a man named William Adams, renowned for being the adventurer who unlocked Japan. It didn't fulfill my expectations, but it was a good book on how trade with Japan and other Asian nations began (from a European perspective).

The Shakespeare Secret by J.L. Carrell. It's a good read actually, the way it twists Shakespeare round to make it more interesting. Heck I learnt more from this book then any English class.
