Chart Throb, Ben Elton.

Just so true...
Ive been wondering for a while is Ben Elton the writer the same person as Ben Elton the comedian?

I cant rememebr which I read last it was either A year at the movies, for fans of MST3K, and people who prefer their cinema not watered down, this is a great read. Either that or some HP Lovecraft, it was before I went back to the grindstone

Dune by Frank Herbert, probably the 10th time i have read the 1st book in the series over he years.
just finished that. at first i thought it was better than the film then, i realised that the film and the book could pretty much be considered two separate entities. i absolutely loved the book.

at the moment I'm reading the 'fountainhead' by Ayn Rand. if anyone else has read that i would love to hear your views on it...

I recently finished 'the divine invasion' by him. his loose grip on reality makes for very readable books. after a "hazy" 3 years at uni I almost questioned my grip on reality for a bit while reading that.

Millenium by Tom Holland
If you're into history or want to know about some of the periods he writes about I strongly recommend this and his other books Rubicon (as the title suggests it is about the fall of the roman republic) and Persian Fire (book on the persian greco war)

Dune. I loved how Paul developed starting from when they kill his father and throw him and his mother into the desert. Great book. I read a library copy and liked it enough to buy my own copy.

'Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep', first time reading any of Philip K Dicks work, and I am definitly going to read more. And I refuse to call the book by the name on its cover, Blade Runner is a MOVIE, not the book damn marketing lackeys
you can still get it with the original name on it, i ordered a copy of it so it would have the real title.

as for me in the past 2 weeks i've finished reading all 14 of the Bond novels, The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z.

i just started to read Galilee by Clive Barker, i want to read more than i do each night but i'm too tired. for those who haven't read any Clive Barker, do so he's a freaking amazing author and can have multiple things going on and keep you interested at all times.
