'Kafka on the beach' by Some Japanese Guy.
I liked it, and it was very special. Before that I read The divine comedy (old translation)by Dante. It was tough, but I made it through. And I learned some things along the way.
That'll be Haruki Murakami. Read one book by this guy, Dance, Dance, Dance and I'm very glad I did. His Wind-Up Bird Chronicle is sitting there on my shelf waiting for me to find some time to read it.

Last book I read: Dr. Bloodmoney by Philip K. Dick. Liked it a lot. It really hit the spot.

I just got done reading "The Way of the Shadows". Sound's pretty good, right? That's what I thought when I picked it up. All the books had Assassin's Creed-esque cover art, which is what caught my attention. But it was actually another fantasy book, yet I still was interested enough to buy it.

It is, by far, the worst book I have ever read. The character is an effing wimp, which you would think be the case of the "humble beginnings" of the hero, but he never truly grows out of it. The "Master" for the wimp is just a big douchebag. The whole world's economy doesn't make a damn bit of sense. There isn't a any consistency that the author will stand by. Pretty much, the author wanted it to "look cool", he dressed it up and gave it a name that he thought was cool, but really, the whole book is just pretending to the end. And, in my book, it's just a piece of shit.

Space Race by Deborah Cadbury. It's a non-fiction book about the two great scientists who designed the rockets for the USSR and the USA: Sergei Korolev, known as the "Great Designer" and a personal hero of mine, and Dr. Wernher Von Braun, a brilliant German engineer who worked for NASA.

Trust me, it's a great book. Both sides made tremendous breakthroughs, worked like hell to achieve their dreams of sending people into space and furthered technology and did more things for our species than probably all of us will ever do in our lives.

Sadly Korolev died due to botched surgery before he could help plan for the Soviet Moon Mission. Had he lived the Russians might have got there first.

A Madness of Angels by Kate Griffin (actual name being Catherine Webb)

An excellent book and I'd *swear* it should be classified as literature....just goes to show how silly some people are ¬_¬)

Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami. It's good, but Norwegian Wood was (I thought anyway) a better novel.

Last book I read was that god-awful Dan Brown tripe, starting into 'A Week In December' by Sebastian Faulks in the hope it can scour that crap from my mind.

The last book I read was Goodbye To All That, which is the autobiography of the WWI poet Robert Graves. I wouldn't have normally gone for that sort of thing but it was part of my uni course. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it; it made for a surprisingly entertaining read.

After the Downfall, really good, the ending pulls you right through, and i couldn't stop reading it once i got to the last hundred pages.

I'm trying to find something good right now, I'm think something super-hero-y.

Last book " Gardens of The Moon " it was really good and interesting
Yeah, I just finished the fourth one in the series, House of Chains. It was pretty good and gave some closure to earlier plot threads from the earlier books, which was nice. Although, in my opinion, the best one so far is Deadhouse Gates.
