Matrion awoke on the ground in the forest, looking down at her arms, she wondered what happened. She was following the tattoos now on her arms when there was a noise. Quickly she climbed up a tree and perched herself ready to jump. A group of roman soldiers passed and behind them a man in a cloak followed.

Matrion jumped down and grabbed the man by the neck and dragged him behind the tree. upon closer inspection she let him go. "Thank god its you zech, please tell me what happened. I'm so confused right now, i have this on my arms." gesturing to the tattoos "All i remember was me burning then giving in to something in my head and now i'm here."

Zech had been trailing the soldiers when out of nowhere a figure jumped down from above and grasped him by the throat. He was already halfway to killing the assailant when he realized it was Matrion.

"Thank god its you Zech, please tell me what happened. I'm so confused right now, i have this on my arms." gesturing to the tattoos. "All I remember was me burning then giving in to something in my head and now I'm here."

His heart was beating so fast from surprise he thought it might burst out of his chest. Very carefully, he pulled his shimmering golden dagger from where it had been, specifically an inch or two from cutting her belly open. It dissipated and he put the unarmed hand on her shoulder.

"Don't do that." He sternly instructed her. "You messed up, Matrion. You messed up very badly. You turned into a dragon and killed half a dozen people. The whole town knows now. Those soldiers are out here looking for you."

"I don't know what happened, sorry about the jumping thing though. All i remember was the burning, the feeling of the fire burning my legs and giving in. after that almost nothing but a warm embrace from something. Next thing i know i'm out here. Whatever it was i let myself to, i can feel it in the back of my mind, watching and waiting.."
Matrion sat down and leaned against the tree. "I could always stay with Her. "

Sonitus strode calmly through the streets as soldiers rushed about swiftly, one of them jostling him and nearly causing him do drop his lute. He stepped to the side to avoid being trampled by a large group of soldiers yelling something about finding an escaped demon. Sonitus found this rather odd but otherwise paid it no heed, having figured that if it was one of his fellow exorcists then they could more than handle themselves and if not then surely one of the other exorcists could help. He seemed fairly ordinary, the only things truly setting him apart from those around him being his height and the fact that he carried three lutes with him, one in hand and two strapped to his back.

He wasn't walking much longer before a man pulled him into an alleyway and stuck a knife in his back, offering the musician his life in exchange for money. Sonitus thrummed his fingers along his lute in irritation before strumming a dischordant note, causing the robber to drop to his knees as he clutched at his head, the sound both causing immense pain and temporarily interrupting the signals to his optic nerve--though the musician simply knew it to blind those who heard it when he applied his musical influence--and the musician seized the opportunity, turning and swinging his instrument rather hard, connecting with the side of the cutpurse's head and splintering the instrument.

"So uncivilized." the musician muttered as he stepped out from the alley, now with only one lute on his back. He continued along his way until he spotted Plain, who he waved to as he approached.

Onyx would have returned to the town, and spread what Atrimus had asked of him, but that was before he saw at least a dozen soldiers marching int the woods. Onyx shook his head and whistled for his horse which was by his side a second later, wondering what could have happened to the town to make this many soldiers come out and into the woods. Onyx quickly mounted his horse and urged it in the direction the soldiers weren't headed in. Onyx put quite a bit of space between him and the soldiers before turning his horse back towards the town and urging it forward.

Titus Equitius Avitus, a former evocati, lives the rest of his now uneventful life in the province of Judaea in a mansion on a hill overlooking a vineyard, which he owns.
Titus Equitius sat in the entrance to his home, ready to welcome any unexpected visitors that might come by. " Help us " someone shouted. A few moments later a tired soldier stood in front of Titus, " Titus Equitius, we need your help. Our recruits are routing we need a man to rally them together. We need an evocati " The soldier catches his breath and stares at the tired old man.
Titus Equitius stood up and looked at the feeble soldier. " I have served Rome. Who will I serve if I come to your aid? " Titus asked the tired soldier. " You will serve the governor. A group of renegades had set fire to our barracks far too many times and we now found a demon from Tartarus-" The soldier said but Titus stopped him. " I will answer your call. Show me the way. I will see your Demon " Titus walked towards the soldier. " But...But you forgot to take your armor, your gladius " The soldier mumbled, " I need no weapons to treat this problem " Titus replied.
The two walked towards the town.

Yay, I'm here.

"No." Zech told in as stern a voice as he could muster. And with his perpetually angry tone, the exact measurement was around "extremely".

"She is a monster, and frankly I don't know why Plain invited her into the Exorcists. You'll stay with my family, they're farther out from the village and the soldiers rarely come there."

In the distance, soldiers could be heard shouting to one another, Zech knew almost no latin, but he was certain it was involving Matrion, and how they couldn't find her. They would be heading in their direction again soon.

"I think they're coming back in a few minutes. If you accept my offer, I'd suggest you come now."

He turned and took a few steps away, before glancing back to see if she was coming with.

"Thank you for the offer, but i'd rather not have your family involved in this. I have more in common with her than the rest of you anyway. If she won't take me, i have no problem. these woods are large." Matrion jumped up the tree since the shouts were getting closer now. "I'll ask no one and let my fate play out before me. If i survive then i'll figure out what next."

"In that case, I will see what I might do to throw them off your trail."

He hid himself behind a bush several dozen yards from where Matrion's tree stood, and in the distance saw the Romans coming back in single file. When he was certain they were at the right distance to see him, but not to catch them in a chase, he stood up and threw his hood back. A shimmering golden aura lit up, nearly blinding with its brilliance. He was certain all the Romans would see was an angelic, shining figure dashing off into the woods after spotting them. He only hoped they would take the bait.

I'm guessing you're the one they call Atriums, i've heard many stories about you. A wolf almost never travels alone and most certainly never consciously barks at a human looking being. If you're not who i think you are then i'm crazy, which is still acceptable." she said

Mtraion jumped down and crouched to be level with the wolf. "My names Matrion but i guess you already know that."

Matrion noticed the wolf body language changed when she said the name. "I guess you don't like that name. you have another i presume? I was also mistaken about the alone part."

The dragon inside her head started to bash around, wanting to get at and eat the wolves before her. "wer achthend coi relgric ve!" it was shouting in her head. each time it bashed against one of the mental walls keeping it in place, sharp pains shot through Matrions head.

"I don't care if you want you want out, its my body!" she was holding her hands against her temples. after a minute it passed.

Matrion regained herself. Pleasure to meet you, forgive me if i don't shake you hand Lorronix but that's what got me into this mess in the first place. Long story short, i was going to be burned, i turned into a dragon, and killed about a fith of the village in the process. can't remember anything after giving in but a warm embrace during the entire thing. enough about me, yourself?

"Can't say much but i think i burned two people to death. small fragments here ad there of what happened are popping back into my head. why? I'm guessing you're not that friendly with it?" Matridom leaned against the tree with the shouts of the soldiers fading into the distance.

"Ye, yes Master Contristo" the young paper carrying girl replied. She picked up her pace a little but stumbled for a moment over an uneven bit of road. A single parchment slipped from the pile, but she snagged it out of the air and replaced it while the stack balanced precariously on one hand for a moment.

She glanced over at the older man checking for any sign of disapproval. She still wasn't quite sure who these 'Exorcists' were or what they did, but she was quite willing to do just about anything to avoid going back to her old master.

An involuntary shiver ran down her spine at the memories of the beatings and horrible conditions. Yes, it was much better now that Contristo was taking car of her.

On the other hand, she still didn't quite know what to think of this city. he couldn't quite place it, but the place smelled weird; something about it put her on edge. Her feet itched, there were fires, and she could have sworn that the howling of wolves had kept her from sleeping last night.

However, even though she was visibly perturbed, it wasn't anything that she wold dare voice to Contristo on her own.
