" Carnage. This wan't like Teutoburg. These men didn't fight back-" Titus examined the field of corpses scattered around the barraks and the charred remains of the building that once towered over the town. " Sir... You were there?" The soldier asked Titus.
" We have lost three legions by the hands of those Germans. But these men didn't die because they were stabbed. SOMETHING else killed them." Titus continued to survey his surroundings and observed two locals talking with each other on the scene.
" Did...Did you survive the Germans?" The soldier uttered but Titus didn't reply, " I suggest you ready yourself for unexpected developments" Titus told the soldier and walked off in the direction of the two men. His forearm began swelling and his skin stretched. He twitched a bit; the pain was a constant companion.

"Well then its settled, I'll head back to the village. Thank you for your hospitality Lorronix." Matrion said then stood and bowed towards Lorronix. she picked up speed an headed off in the direction of the village, picking up a robe like her last one.

She reached the edge of the village and assumed her usual stance while hoping they would be looking for something that looked like a dragon. she made her way to the center of the village, upon seeing the destruction the dragon insider her caused her knees buckled. Matrion regained her composure and started going around to each of the bodies, kneeling and wishing them a safe trip to the afterlife.

Noticing Lorronix protecting her, Matrion spoke "Thank you for the protection Artimus These people will do as they wish, i could understand if they want my head." and she resumed her rounds.

"you might not but the soldiers will, even with the gods. i don't wish for you to be affiliated or speaking with me, they shall have your heads too." Matrion said, a shooting pain went through her head, causing her to collapse. "I refuse to let you take control again!"

Matrion noticed the change in weather and Lorronix's body language. "So thats the other thing you do. Gahh!." another pain shot though her head, yet it passed quickly. "I appreciate your effort, but look around you, it has more than enough power to tear apart this place, even when wet."

As far as I recall Dragon's opening stated that we were all Exorcists.

After what seemed like a marathon of mindless trudging through empty land, Zech saw the dotted silhouette of his village on the horizon. His pace quickened as he imagined the food his parents would have waiting for dinner. Half of an hour later he passed the little gate into the city and drew up his hood as he approached the smoking remains of the barracks. As he walked out into the open, though, he spotted a figure that looked different from the rest. An officer of some sort, perhaps. Zech broke out into a full sprint in the hopes to either avoid his sight entirely, or get away before the Romans could react.

Garerus opened his eyes carefully, peering out to see the sun shining back at him. He had decided to take a chance at a nap when everyone had run off, deciding it was pointless to give chase. He had seen Zech running off, and was sure he could handle it. He rolled over and groaned loudly as he stretched his legs out on top of the building he was on. His stomach groaned loudly as he sat up, demanding some food, and rather quickly. He stood and made his way back down to the ground, before sniffing the air for any hint something good to eat.

His eyes were always scanning, whether or not he seemed conscious of the fact they were, and he had seen one of his fellow Exorcist Zech dart off into a side street. He must be running after some food.. I'd better follow him, just to make sure. He thought hungrily to himself as he began a sprint after him, his old red roman cloak trailing behind him as he tucked his arm through his bow to hold it easily. "Hey! Hold up a second!" He called out to the man as he ran.

Zech dashed down the alleyway, certain of his escape, only to hear a voice call out to him. He thought it seemed familiar, and he slowed for a second to turn around and check. But whatever relief he had felt turned to dread as he saw the red Roman cloak flowing in the air as he saw a Roman soldier thundering toward him. He panicked, and moved as quickly as his legs would take him down the alleyway. He saw a quick point to turn and ducked in only to find himself face to face with a wall. He ducked behind a pile of refuse that someone had neglected to properly dispose of, and hoped that the Roman would not notice him. And also that he would leave quickly. The smell was unbearable.

Matrion noticed some soldiers moving about. not caring if she was seen or not, went to the cross and sat in front of it an began meditating. Her tattoos started to glow red and causing searing pain, but she didn't care, for she was in the dream land confronting the dragon. a dull red glow could be seen though the robe.

Garerus smiled when Zech turned around and saw him, but his smile quickly faded when Zech continued running, scared as ever. He looked down at his clothes and noticed he was still in his roman clothing, for disguise reasons. He sighed to himself as he continued running and chased him into the only alley that seemed reasonable. He called out quickly. "Cut it out Zech..." his voice cut off as he caught his breath" Im hungry and you just made me run half way across town. I'm no big scary roman, well, any more atleast" He called out with a forced smile, while catching his breath again.

Contristo approached slowly, weary as to whether this being was friend or foe, This paranoia faded when he drew close enough to make out the crest emblazoned on his sleeveless coat. The rogue Golem, Onyx.

Contristo had read of the little history recorded of the Golems. Men of steel who's hide was so thick not even the mightiest blade could gash. He had also heard the tales of this one in particular. An outcast of his own clan who'd joined the Exorcists some years ago. However, his reasons for doing so where a mystery to Contristo.

"Onyx, I presume?" Contristo was at a halt about a metre before the man, between them was a pulp of human remains with jagged bones piercing through the loose muscle and skin.

Contristo flourished his hand at the corpse and has he did a pitch black serpent crept out from under his garb and coiled around his wrist.

"This carnage is the result of a powerful creature, I shall explain everything to you as we search for her. Right now we must leave before the Romans arri-" Contristo's words came to an abrupt halt as the visage of a man in Roman uniform with pulsating muscles advanced on the two.

Speak of the Devil...

Contristo cast his gaze to the position where Cloud Runner had been, only to be greeted with an empty courtyard. Contristo let a slight chuckle slip through lips.

The engagement ended the same as last time, but a little more violent. she wound up skidding across the ground and came to rest near a mans feet, he was quickly being approached by a roman solider.

she got up "Please forgive me sir." Matrion tried to move away slowly.

Time to clear up some minor details here. while being an exorcist Matrion is not very well known by the rest off the group, the only ones she is well know with is Zech and Lorronix. also the first time she went dragon was at the burning so its impossible for anyone to know it was her unless they saw it happen.
