The back and forth between Shah and the group was interesting to say the least. Shah decided to explain the sword before being interrupted by Ingo. Ingo then got a swift slap in the mouth from the Gerudo prince. It kept when getting worse, as Ragnar asked a rather inappropriate question.

The embarrassing series of events came to end as Impa responded to Ro's question. "Yes. And perhaps escort out a few others too...", when she was interrupted by the voice of the princess herself.

"Pardon me, sir." Zelda walked in followed closely by a rather perturbed looking Knight Commander Sigrid. No one spoke as two of the most powerful woman in the world eyed the group. Ro froze as Sigird glared at him before moving on. It was replaced with a fierce blush as Her Highness turned to him for a view moments.

Impa spoke up and the princess responded. "Impa there's something I need to talk to you about. And I would very much like for you to join us, Prince Shah. I believe the subject of our discussion will interest you greatly. Besides that, there's another matter that we need to talk about."

Impa moved to her Princess' side before being followed by Shah.

"Anything to leave the company of these imbeciles." Ro ws wondering if he should escort Prince Shah. As he hesistated to move forward, his chance was cut short as the Knight Commander stepped in front of the doorway.

"Anything you lot would like to divulge with me that you haven't with Lady Impa already?"

Lynd was first to respond with attempted proof of his bravery. Followed soon by Ingo who promised information on Vaati.

Ro had nothing of particular importance to add. "Not r-really Knight Commander. Lady Impa had just finished questioning them when the Prince came in. Is...is there any else we can help you with?" He hesitated.

"And I'd watch my tongue if I were you, you ignorant Hylian pig. The sword doesn't just originate from my people. It-" Prince Shah was interrupted by Ragnar asking a rather inappropriate question; which was answered by the Kokiri, which earned him a well deserved smack across the face from Shah, serves the little Wizzrobe right for being so insulting.

However that didn't take away any the pain that Erryn felt from being called an ignorant pig. She wanted to tackle Shah to the ground and start beating the life out of him; unfortunately she was denied by both Faulkner and Sable holding her back and then moved her to the back of the room, clearly seeing the anger on her face.

"Let me go you two. Didn't you see the way that he insulted me, your Captain I might add." Erryn said with a stern tone.

"I understand your frustration Captain, but now isn't the time for such rash actions. There are more important things to worry about." Faulkner remarked, providing some words of wisdom.

"And besides Captain, he ain't worth it, plus you'd only be doing him a favor." Sable then chipped in his usual stoic tone. Erryn took a few moments to think it over, and came to the decision that the pair of them were correct.

"Of course, you're both right. Apologies for my ill behavior, very unfitting for someone in my station, just never really been insulted like that before; and it being from a Gerudo just made it sting that little bit more."

"Pardon me, sir." A feminine voice called out. Looking over the top of Sorti, she saw that it was none other than Princess Zelda. Almost immediately Erryn and the crew gave a small bow of respect. Few times had they seen the Princess in person. Last time Erryn remembered was when was officially made the Captain of The Nayru's Wind, and that was a few years ago.

Both the Princess, Lady Impa, and Prince Shah talked for a moment before leaving the assorted bunch in the care of Knight Commander Sigrid.

"Anything you lot would like to divulge with me that you haven't with Lady Impa already?"

"Aside from three what I presumed to be Aerolfos having taken the other two Sacred Stones, I think you've got everything from us."

Hearing Ragnar's comment about Prince Shah getting all the females to himself, Hyoko snorted despite herself. The Prince didn't seem like the type to go for such things... though when she glanced at the Prince's face, she was surprised to see him blushing, something she had never seen him do before.

Then the awkward moment was broken when the Kokiri boy made a snide comment, and Shah slapped him in response. Hyoko winced, but was privately glad she wasn't the focus of his attention for once.

Thankfully, before things could get worse, a young woman entered. Judging by her finery and the way some of the people in the room bowed, she guessed that this must be Princess Zelda. After talking with the Shiekah, the Princess left the room with Prince Shah in tow (and Hyoko let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding).

After the left, the only one in charge in the room was the Knight Commander, who eyed them all coldly.

"Anything you lot would like to divulge with me that you haven't with Lady Impa already?"

Hyoko swallowed hard. "N-no Ma'am." She said quickly.

Was all Ragnar heard after Ingo's snide remark, wondering if Erryn could perhaps explain to him why that remark was insulting. If one male is born every 100 years, and he gets all the females to himself, how does care for them all? Either way, it appeared that Shah was rather pissed off from the remark, even going so far as to insult Erryn and the others present. "Well excuse me prince of bitches,no offense Hyoko , but yelling and screaming like a petulant child that just got his milk spilled doesn't exactly make you look good either. A little respect for your fellow being goes a long way." he commented before the Shah left, along with Princess Zelda and Impa.

The Dinolfos took this opportunity to stand up and stretch his limbs out, the male keeping a hand on his hat to avoid losing it again. He Took a few steps back to where Erryn had been restrained by her crew and gave her a pat on her shoulder. "Relax Erryn, We'll get even with him at some point, i'm sure." he told her, a little anger of his own in his voice as he spoke, not taking kindly to someone insulting his friend. It was a completely new concept to him, friends. In the forest, the skullkid was the only one he had to talk to, since the other sentient species of the woods were either too primitive for conversation, or tried to rip his guts out or eat him upon an attempt at contact.

"Anything you lot would like to divulge with me that you haven't with Lady Impa already?" he heard Sigrid say as she was left in the room with the lot of them. Ragnar instinctively slipped behind Erryn nad her crew, trying to crouch down and make himself as unnoticable as he could be. He was quite afraid of that woman, seeing as she had been slaughtering his kinsman not a couple hours earlier. "Don't let her see me..." he whispered up to erryn, despite having his tail and large hat in plain view.

"Anything you lot would like to divulge with me that you haven't with Lady Impa already?"

Jakaboq shook himself out of his stupor - he was meeting more celebrities by the second! Not to mention the fact that Princess Zelda was indeed quite a sight. The Bokoblin would kidnap her any day. But of course, there was the half-baked and half-ignored brewings of an international incident as some made it very clear that they didn't enjoy the male Gerudo and the Knight Commander to deal with.

"Erm... N-no, Commander?" Jakaboq replied as innocently as he could. He totally didn't do any looting, no sir.

Sigrid responded to Lynd first. "Having known you for long enough? Probably not. You can certainly try to persuade me though." she said, then turned to Ingo. "That would be helpful indeed. Ro, why don't you untie the Kokiri and fetch him some ink and paper?"

The Knight-Commander turned back to the rest of the group and noticed Rangar trying to hide behind some chairs, his large tail sticking out and acting as a dead give-away. Sigrid scowled as she walked over and grab hold of the tail. "And you!" she shouted, yanking on the Dinolfos roughly. "How dare you try to hide from me! What, you're going to insult a member of royalty behind their back and then just cower behind some chairs? Damned spineless lizard." She let go of Ragnar's tail, slamming it against the ground before turning to Erryn and Ingo. "This is the first chance we've had in decades to ease tensions with the Gerudo. I swear that if any of you thick-headed idiots ruined this opportunity by running your mouths, you will rot in the dungeon."

"That would be helpful indeed."

'Yesss?' Ingo sat forward a little bit, smiling nervously and shifting his glance between the commander and the bottle on the table.

"Ro, why don't you untie the Kokiri and fetch him some ink and paper?"

Ingo grinned, as soon as he was free leaping forward towards the desk. The blur of green and red nearly smashed the bottle as he tipped it onto it's side and pulled off the plug, his red fairy friend flying out graceful as ever. Ingo jumped back to his chair, standing on it now and rubbing his wrist. The fairy did a few rings around her Wizzrobe guardian, before finally slamming herself into his forehead.

"You stupid, stupid, stupid little child! Don't! Insult! Diplomats! How is it your hard head only ever learns how to cast magic?! Why couldn't I get to be with The Green Champion, or Saria, or even Mido?!" Perci stopped her tirade, turning back to the Commander as she beat up the Dinolfos they stole from earlier.

"This is the first chance we've had in decades to ease tensions with the Gerudo. I swear that if any of you thick-headed idiots ruined this opportunity by running your mouths, you will rot in the dungeon."

"Y-yes ma'am, I'll hide the key myself if he does it again!" The nervous fairy seemed to hide behind Ingo as she spoke, making him grow a smug grin. She was scary as hell, but he was at least useful. So long as he had that, he was safe. Or at least he hoped. He decided he might drag his feet with the map a bit, if only for security.

"Relax Erryn, We'll get even with him at some point, I'm sure." Remarked Ragnar as he came towards where Erryn was seated, to which she gave a little smirk in response. When Knight Commander Sigrid entered the room however, the confidence which Ragnar displayed but a few moments ago suddenly vanished, replaced with fear. "Don't let her see me..." He said with a quivering voice as Ragnar hid behind the chair that Erryn was sitting on in an attempt to hide himself.

It appeared as though that his attempt at camouflage was insufficient as the Knight Commander came over and picked up his tail. "How dare you try to hide from me! What, you're going to insult a member of royalty behind their back and then just cower behind some chairs? Damned spineless lizard." Sigrid then forcefully threw the tail to the ground before turning to face both Erryn and Ingo.

"This is the first chance we've had in decades to ease tensions with the Gerudo. I swear that if any of you thick-headed idiots ruined this opportunity by running your mouths, you will rot in the dungeon."

"Understood ma'am." Erryn replied with a quick salute. She then looked down towards Ragnar, who was busy nursing his tail before turning back to Sigrid.

"With all due respect ma'am, is that really the right way to treat someone who, a little awhile ago gave themselves willingly in the defense of people that he barely knows anything about? That act of kindness already makes him a friend in my book. The raw strength and talent he displayed when we fought side by side against Valentine, he's got potential in his future. As what? Well that's up to him."

Ro fidgeted with the singed edge of his clothing as he looked back and forth from the guests to Commander Sigrid. She was responding to a question asked by his ally Lynd. "Having known you for long enough? Probably not. You can certainly try to persuade me though." She then turned her attention to Ingo who was being a wise guy, probably not a smart move around her. He spoke up, "I could consider drawing a map of Vaati's island, he probably hasn't changed the layout much and I got a good birds eye view of it often. It'd be going off memory though." The response seem fairly sincere with a with only mild sarcasm.

The Knight Commander mulled it over for less then a second before she finally responded to Ro's query. "That would be helpful indeed. Ro, why don't you untie the Kokiri and fetch him some ink and paper?"

"Right away Knight Commander!" Ro was surprised at being brought in to the situation, he assumed she would want him to stand off to the side and keep his mouth shut, like his parents used to do. Ro quickly walked along the edge of the room until he was behind the chatty Kokiri. He fumbled trying to unto the expertly tied knot for a minute before pulling the restraints off. Now that he was free, Ro went around to the front of the chair. He quickly fished through the satchel at his side for a spare piece of paper and a his writing equipment. He held a quill and some ink in his hand and offered it to Ingo. "H-here you go."

Ro walked back towards Sigrid but stumbled on the loose ropes that now sat on the floor and tripped. He quickly sprang up, embarrassed. He looked at the other members of the group to see if anyone was going to laugh at him. He scooped up the rope and walked back to behind Sigrid, his head held low.

Ingo nods to Ro, holding in mocking laughter as he stumbles away. "Heh, nerds..." He starts on the map.

Several minutes passed before Impa and Shah returned to the interrogation room. Princess Zelda though was absent. Sigrid turned to face them. "Well?"

Impa replied, but while facing the party of ragtags. "All of you are welcome to leave. However, Her Highness would prefer if you did not. She wishes to...recruit you. For a quest relating to the degenerates who attacked today, as well as their capture of the Sacred Stones and the young maiden Marin. If the offer does not interest you, feel free to stay anyway. Her Highness is willing to provide bedding overnight for Castle-Town's latest heroes. In the morning, you will receive rewards for helping protect the people of Hyrule and be privy to further details about Her Highness' quest. Additionally-"

Before Impa could continue, Shah brushed past her. "I, however, won't be staying overnight. I intend to leave this savage hellhole as soon as possible." he said, then turned to Hyoko. "And I hope that you share my thoughts. You can do one of two things now Hyoko. Either leave with me and my retainers within the hour, or stay here with these Hylian barbarians. If you choose the later, then you're forbidden from returning to the Gerudo Desert. Understood?"

Shah walked off, slamming the door behind him as he left the interrogation room. Impa sighed. "As I was saying...Commander Sigrid, you are to escort Ro and Lynd to the throne room. Her Highness wishes to have them both knighted for displaying bravery and heroism in the line of duty."

Sigrid shot a pair of smiles; one pleasant and aimed at Ro, the other cruel and aimed at Lynd.

"If anyone wishes to speak further, you may find me outside of the throne room. Guest chambers are within the western and eastern wings of the Castle's lower floor, connected to the great hall. I hope you all sleep well tonight."

Thankfully no one laughed too much at him. Ro shuffled forward and stood near Lynd, trying to draw attention away from himself. It was several moments before Lady Impa and Prince Shah returned. "Well?" Inquired the commander.

Lady Impa responded surprisingly. She graciously thanked everyone present and let on they were to be offered a quest involving the ruffians from earlier and some missing girl that he heard mentioned before. She offered a bed for the night and even a reward for the ragtag group of civilians. They sure were lucky, Ro admired the bravery of the people in front of him, being offered a quest from the princess herself, just the heroes from the stories.

Before Impa could continue Shah stepped forward and interrupted. "I, however, won't be staying overnight. I intend to leave this savage hellhole as soon as possible. And I hope that you share my thoughts. You can do one of two things now Hyoko. Either leave with me and my retainers within the hour, or stay here with these Hylian barbarians. If you choose the later, then you're forbidden from returning to the Gerudo Desert. Understood?" The fierce prince glared at the young girl before him, before turning and leaving the room. Ro looked at the girl for a moment before he looked back at the departing prince.

He can't be serious. Kicking her out of her home because she might be willing to help out a different race of people...I guess his meeting with the Princess didn't go so well to have him in that kind of mood.

His thoughts were interrupted by Lady Impa "As I was saying...Commander Sigrid, you are to escort Ro and Lynd to the throne room. Her Highness wishes to have them both knighted for displaying bravery and heroism in the line of duty."

It took Ro a second to process what was just said. Surely she only ment Lynd and slipped up because Ro was standing right next to him...right? That had to be it. He was sure none of that quest stuff applied to him, the princess and Impa were looking for hero material and he was just Ro. He looked around unsure until he met eyes with the Knight Commander. She smiled at him that was 100% a smile directed right at him.

"If anyone wishes to speak further, you may find me outside of the throne room. Guest chambers are within the western and eastern wings of the Castle's lower floor, connected to the great hall. I hope you all sleep well tonight." With that thought Lady Impa took her leave.

Ro was in a daze. A knight...him? Like his brother and father before him? Was it really possible? With only the slightest ounce of hesitation he stepped up the the commander.

"Commander is...is there any thing else you require, Sir?" He tried to be serious and professional but he was pretty sure he had one of the biggest smiles in his life one his face.

Hyoko listened to Impa's words, taking it all in. Her, a lowly Gerudo warrior being hailed as a hero? Now that was something she could get behind!

However, her good mood came crashing to the ground when Prince Shah pushed past her looking furious. Understood?" And with that, he stormed out of the room.

Hyoko slunk further into her seat. The Prince left her with little choice: either return with him, or never return to her people. And while Hyoko wanted to roam, she had also intended to return to the Gerudo Desert with stories she could share with her sisters.

It just wasn't fair...!

With a relieved sigh, Lynd relaxed as Commander Sigrid left the room with Lady Impa. He'd come up with an appropriate excuse later - something that emphasized how wildly incompetent he was. At best she'd chew him out and send him back to his post with some demerits or docked pay - fine by him - and at worst, he'd be fired. He didn't really mind that either, to be honest. He was hardly a stranger to unemployment, and he had enough savings to figure something out if he needed to. He would miss this gig, though - low stress, hardly any responsibilities, and decent enough pay.

He was pulled from his stupor by the door to the interrogation room opening once again, revealing Lady Impa and Commander Sigrid sans the Princess. Impa cleared her throat, before addressing all of them. "All of you are welcome to leave. However, Her Highness would prefer if you did not. She wishes to...recruit you."

Wait, what?

"For a quest relating to the degenerates who attacked today, as well as their capture of the Sacred Stones and the young maiden Marin."

Oh no. No. NO.

"If the offer does not interest you, feel free to stay anyway. Her Highness is willing to provide bedding overnight for Castle-Town's latest heroes. In the morning, you will receive rewards for helping protect the people of Hyrule and be privy to further details about Her Highness' quest. Additionally-"

Oh, absolutely NOT. He was NOT getting involved in this any further than he needed to. Heroism was for foolish martyrs, and Lynd intended to live as long as he could, thank you very much! He motioned to speak, but was cut off by Price Shah making a scene. Before he could assert himself again, Lady Impa continued:

"As I was saying... Commander Sigrid, you are to escort Ro and Lynd to the throne room. Her Highness wishes to have them both knighted for displaying bravery and heroism in the line of duty."

What.

WHAT.

Lynd turns to face Commander Sigrid, horror etched in every part of his features. The look on her face only confirms his fears - she knew. She knew he wanted absolutely nothing to do with this madness. And her idea of a fitting punishment for his 'cowardace' was to make an offer he couldn't refuse. Only a fool would turn down a knighting offered by the goddamned fucking Princess, and once was knighted... he wouldn't have a choice in the matter.

A mote of dread works up into his stomach. All those years of carefully sculpted mediocrity. All the thrown sparring matches. All the deliberately botched patrols. All for nothing - undone with one act of spur of the moment 'heroism'.

He forces himself into a pained smile. "...I would be honored to accept, of course."

A few minutes of silenced had passed before Lady Impa and Prince Shah returned to the interrogation room, with the Princess noticeably absent. The Sheikah then graciously thanked everyone involved, and mentioned that the Princess wished to recruit the heroes of the hour for a quest regarding the remaining Sacred Stones and the girl that was kidnapped earlier. Mentions of a reward for their efforts today and the offer of a room for the night piqued Erryn's interest; after all, it wasn't everyday that you got to spend the night in Hyrule Castle if you were an ordinary citizen.

Erryn simply rolled her eyes with contempt when Prince Shah decided to start talking again, and proceeded to threaten Hyoko with expulsion from the Gerudo Desert if she didn't leave with him in the hour. Eventually he got round to leaving.

"And to the surprise of no one, I say good riddance to you, you right royal berk." Erryn muttered to herself.

"As I was saying...Commander Sigrid, you are to escort Ro and Lynd to the throne room. Her Highness wishes to have them both knighted for displaying bravery and heroism in the line of duty."

"...I would be honored to accept, of course." Said one of the two knights to be with an obviously forced smile, clearly this was something he didn't expect to happen.

"And let me be the first to congratulate you on your new vocation lads. With what I'm betting this quest will entail, I imagine we'll need every able bodied person available." Erryn remarked with a cheeky smile as she made a mock toast to the two in question.

Ragnar couldn't help but grin at the mention of both a reward and a bed to sleep in, the Dinolfos more than willing to curl up on a nice stone floor and pass out at the moment, but a nice cozy bed would also suffice for the large reptile. His grin turned into a scowl as a very annoying prince stormed into the room. Understood?"
The dinolfos rumbled a bit before muttering something under his breath. "...Walking handbag..." he muttered just loud enough for erryn to hear, but no one else. Unfortunately for Ragnar, he only knew of the insult because multiple people had called him that while he lived with the Skullkid, so he assumed that it was just a general insult to people you don't like...if you don't like someone, turn them into a handbag!

"I think we've all earned a little bit of rest, as for the quest, I have nothing else pressing at the moment, nor do I really have a home to return to regardless. So I'd be interested in it." he replied to Impa, standing up and stretching out a bit, some vertebrae popping into place again after having been sitting for so long.
