Some people shouldnt have kids :D

On a serious note grow up kids ... its everyones responsibility to limit the spread of the virus we loving call people.
Yeah, irresponsibility and overpopulation seems to be a problem, I'm not opposed to these pills, I'm just paranoid :)

I think that it's silly. The female "pill" has several uses, and can help control hormones and their menstrual cycles. What would this do for guys? It certainly isn't safe sex, because it wouldn't protect against STDs. So unless you're married, your wife has a perfect hormone level and menstrual cycles and is against taking pills, and you really don't want kids, I don't see a reason for this pill.

Try curing cancer, guys.

I would certainly NOT want to test the new product, myself.
You so sure about that? Didn't think you'd be up this early, haha.

Anyway, I've been told it's probably for the better if I don't have kids, but I still don't think I'd trust it.
No, neither would I. Oh, come on, man, Im sure youd be a great father.

Just like I would be!

Lol.. So true

I personally won't be using this.. something makes me think this will make my balls shrink like stereoids.. and that would not be fun.

Haha, I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a law passed against either of us being fathers.

Im pretty sure I want at least one child to twist to my own set of morals and ethics, though, through the use of reverse psychology, of course.

I will be the most liberal parent in existence, making them fascist. Then I jump the fact that I am decently fascist myself on them.

Oh noes! I am like Daddy!

I found an article the other day about the male contraceptive pill being made and soon enough put into production.

As far as i can tell there are a few different types being tested at the moment but they all come down to the same principle.

What are your thoughts on this?
You can stop man from many things (temporairly)

but you can't stop a man from doing what makes him a man, i will never trust a pill thats stops my balls from doing what they do !

I honestly dont trust science and its pills with my balls.

Indeed.
I don't really see why everyone is having such a hissy fit over condoms.
Never had sex myeself, mind you,but my argument still stands.

You not coming near me with that pill! what if it doesn't work? or worse still, it works to well, and no children ever?
Why not use a condum? does the same job, prevents the spread of disease, and would probably be cheaper.

I see a lot of people going "I won't tamper with my balls!" here, but personally I think its better for men. Some women have great, great problems with mood swings etc, due to taking the hormones contained in contraceptive pills, and I for one would be happy to alleviate the problems if possible. Sure condoms work too but for spontaneous sex and for better feel I'd prefer a contraceptive that does not turn my GF into an emotionally unstable wreck. Also, I think its a good thing that there will be a option for men, It's about equality as well. You can talk it over with your partner and find which solution you prefer, but at least there won't be a way for scaredy-cat men to go "I'd totally do it if there were an option" and lie.

The risk I'm foreseeing is the one night stands where the guy promises that he's "absolutely on the pill. Took one before coming here!", leaving the girl with some bad consequences (especially in America where the anti abortion topic is so hot right now)

One thing we seem to be forgeting here, one nighters also present other risks that this pill can't protect you from.
