About the only gamers I actually like are the ones who attempt to coordinate strategy or remain calm and type gg (goodgame) after a round. Those guys/gals are cool but so few and far between unfortunately.
i miss Warcraft 3. most people was like that back in stuff like Island Defense or any Tower Defense. i think that games why i am an online gentleman.

The gamers who yell at all their team members telling them what to do. Then they either go against what they say or end up being really bad at the game.

Impatient ones. "I have game, I need stuff now now now now now!" bouncing around like a maniac, shooting anyone on their team who slightly irritates them. Teamwork does not exist for these people. They are super awesome lone wolves, and apparently the rest of the team sucks when it all falls apart.

Luckily not too many of the other types are PC gamers. Dunno why, I dont see much of any smack talk or griefing when playing CoD4, Bf2, BfBc2 online. Maybe it's just Australian servers, that probably helps too :)

Lemmings lemmings lemmings. Those people that do what 90% of the other people do and think they're original or good at what they're doing. Oh yeah? You're good with that weapon? Well, SO IS EVERYONE ELSE!

I cant stand it when people use the same things and sit in the same spots as everyone else. They see a few people doing it and think they have to. Then they think they're the greatest thing to ever live.

Take the most recent FPS games for example. Developers put 20+ weapons in the game, and people run around never using more than 3 or 4. Its sad when I can guess what weapons(and perks(mw2)) you have in your classes and be right 8/10 times.

Also, those people that think they're "pro". I swear, there is a very large percentage of people that don't know what a professional is...

Honestly, I just hate gamers. We ruin every multiplayer game there is.

Elitists who think their preferred genre/platform makes them better gamers or that they are more of a gamer than other people. People who refuse to accept that gaming has evolved and cling to their old favorite 'classic' games that play like shit by today's standards (I don't care about people playing their old games, I just find it so annoying when they state their games are better by FACT and people who prefer modern games are idiots) and generally all the nostalgic people are annoying. People who act like dicks in multiplayer. People who hate all gamers who just aren't very good at the game they're playing ("noobs") and expect everyone they play to be excellent, as if it really matters. PC gamers who think you can't BE a PC gamer and have fun without owning all the latest hardware and putting everything on highest settings. The pompous self-righteous dickhead gamers who think they're so intelligent and deem all normal people to be below them, and they are almost always angry teenage shut-ins who have no friends (there's plenty on this forum and most other gaming forums). Hardcore gamers who hate casual gamers. Casual gamers who hate hardcore gamers. Gamers who hate anything mainstream (even outside of gaming) and are extremely cynical and pessimistic.

...so basically 99% of all gamers. There's a reason I don't socialize with other gamers outside of this website, they're hardly the most likeable bunch of people overall.

Gamers who think it's cool to hate everything, and to be cynical 24/7. Brighten up a bit. Also, gamers who give you "advice". My brother does this chronically, and it pisses me off to no end. Once in Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, my heli got it's engine blown by one of those damn (and far too common) lucky shots, my brother proceeds to say "You should have dodged that bullet, then you wouldn't have died". Even worse, he never plays that game, and says it's boring. I asked him what he would know about play the game when he never plays, and his response was: "Well, if you had any dodging skills, they wouldn't have killed you". I was a little irritated by his stupid "help".

The "You're not a REAL gamer unless you've played X" elitist type.

It's doubly funny if the kid is half your age, because this is a suitable rebuttal:
"Dude, I've been gaming while you were in your mother's womb. Hush yourself."
This and the same people that say you're not a real gamer if you even think about playing casual games. WTF?! Games are games right who cares about how simplistic they are.

To me, it's the mimics that are more annoying- when one player plays a class well, people come out of the woodwork to play as it. It's especially vexing when I'm the only Spy. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty good, and having three other Spies bumbling around, in bad disguises and getting into gunfights, makes it harder for me to sneak around.
The lack of communication on PSN makes it very hard to strategize with my teammates (Almost no one has a mic, including me) usually people know their role and just how to use their class, but sometimes I just get people who do things that are unfathomably stupid. I play an engineer and start building a turrent, then another engineer will come and build another one right next to mine for no apparent reason. I'll play a medic and get my ubercharge up, yet my patients don't seem to grasp the concept of invincibility, hiding in corners for fear of being killed. On 2Fort someone might grab the intelligence and not run toward the base, instead preffering to stay and fight off the enemies pursuing them.
First of all, it's nice to see someone else playing TF2 on PS3.

I've seen the redundant sentries before myself, and it's annoying. I frequently take it as my cue to change classes and spy some more, although the people who build the redundant sentries tend to ignore them and let them get blown up. I've seen Engineers built sentries and never upgrade them for whatever reason. I've seen Snipers charging the battlefield and I've seen Spies on the battlements, trying to snipe. I've seen Medics repeatedly healing disguised friendly Spies. I've seen the intel-thieving-hunting thing. (If you have the intel, run away!) I've seen people just stay in the spawn room, shooting the ceiling for whatever reason.

And yet I still like the game a whole lot. Go figure.

You play on PS3 as well hmm? What division? I was in division #1 a few days ago, but for some reason I was bumped down to #2 even though my stats got higher. Do I have the order mixed up or something?

I also remember one instance where half of my team just stood in the spawn room doing their taunts for the entire match, leaving the rest of us to actually play the game. I just don't understand people sometimes.

Also, would you like to play with me? I'm not incredibly good, but I don't suck and I'm always a team player. :)

GRRL gamers, AKA the ones who make it abundantly clear that they are females playing games just so that they can get free kills or less deaths or whatever. Which is why whenever one of those types appear before me, I make it my personal mission to kill them and only them through the entire game.

The kind that boast for five seconds about a kill on Halo 3 before getting fragged in the face then shouting at the opposing player for killing them. You know, boastful, arrogant, self-centered, and rude. They laugh at you when you die then shout at you when you point out how FAIL they are. JERKS!

13 year-old boys who insist on talking over voice chat. It's not that they are stupid, or spew obscenities, it's just that their voices are so goddamn whiny! Go away, and don't come back until after puberty.

That's usually my cue to drop the game. I mean, losing's fine, and being (slightly) outnumbered's fine, but being on a team where half the players are doing nothing but preventing the auto-balance from kicking in gets irritating. Makes me wish for friendly fire.

(That sort of behavior is perfectly fine during pregame, when the server's waiting for the minimum number of people to join. I once saw two Engineers from different teams just standing around telefragging each other and taunting. It made me laugh. I popped down as a Heavy and started taunting them back.)
