The "You're not a REAL gamer unless you've played X" elitist type.
I may dislike cheaters, and egomaniacs, and griefers, and idiots, but these people take the cake. Maybe it's just my tendency to take nothing seriously, but video games are toys, nothing more, and there aren't tiers of fandom. Games are not serious business.

I can't stand the Stop Having Fun Guys types who look down their noses at anyone who'd rather tinker with a game and find something that works for them rather than go to GameFAQs or some wiki and look up how to get THE MOST DPS in every possible situation.
Then again, there's this sort of thing, which is a really good way to miss the point of a game. I mean, if a game had an option at the beginning to jump straight to the ending, I wouldn't hit it, and if a multiplayer game had a "explode all enemies" button, I'd avoid it because it's not fun. See above re: games are toys and supposed to be fun.

When I run smack-dab into a turrent or, say, a demoman's mines I think "Okay, what class could I use to kill that mofo?" and the lemmings seem to think "I'll just keep picking the Scout because he can outruns bullets! YEEEEAAH-. Oops, I died again. I'm going to pick the scout again!"
Well, when you're the Engineer in that scenario, it's hilarious. Agreed that it's annoying when they're your liabilities. To me, it's the mimics that are more annoying- when one player plays a class well, people come out of the woodwork to play as it. It's especially vexing when I'm the only Spy. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty good, and having three other Spies bumbling around, in bad disguises and getting into gunfights, makes it harder for me to sneak around.
