I think i can speak for all hetero males on this site when i say;Trivea said:If step-parents count, my step-mom told me that she would sleep with me if she hadn't married my dad (and I'm female, by the way). I haven't had an awkward moment with my biological parents that can come close to topping that.

One of her friends has a sister thats a bit of a .... nice word for slut .... can't think of one. She's a bit "loose" to be polite. So my daughters friend had overheard a conversation and heard that question and then asked her friends.Arontala said:Did she know what that even meant, or was it one of those things where she heard some people at school talking about it, and just asked out of curiosity?
As I posted in the duplicate thread, coming out is the most awkward thing I've done with both of my parents.FrostyChick said:"Mum, there's something I have to tell you... I'm a lesbian..."
Ahem!Mackheath said:None, really. Although explaining to my mother how I heard her having sex and requesting she keep it down was...winceworthy.
It was really awkward because my mother took it like a slap to the face, she wasn't angry, just shocked. And not in a homophobic way or anything. But up until then, out of my other siblings I was the normal boring one.Dags90 said:As I posted in the duplicate thread, coming out is the most awkward thing I've done with both of my parents.
More recently, I asked my mother if she was getting all her aging lady parts taken care of, mammograms and what have you because she can be a bit harebrained. In this I mentioned that I go to a Planned Parenthood in a nearby town. As a gay man, it should be pretty obvious why I go there.
Up to this point it wasn't too awkward, but then she kept trying to pry details out of me and asked the stupid obvious and passive-aggressive questions like "Why do you go to Planned Parenthood?" and "So you're sexually active, then?"

Planned Parenthood is a sexual health clinic in the U.S. They do things like mammograms, Pap smears, prostate checks, abortions, prescribing contraception, as well as STD testing. It's actually cheaper for me to go to Planned Parenthood and not use my health insurance to get tested.FrostyChick said:It was really awkward because my mother took it like a slap to the face, she wasn't angry, just shocked. A weird question. What is Planned Parenthood?
Oh, and don't take this the wrong way, but I was under the impression you were a woman. >.>
Sorry, should have checked profile before making assumptions, I know.
