Umm... Theme of Sorrow isn't a song? What exactly is your definition of a song?

Band on the Run by Paul McCartney....'nuff said in my opinion lol. But also many songs by Opeth are simply beautiful.

Seriosuly though id say 'Raindrops' by Chopin, just an amazing piano song.

the song kinda builds up, however if you are absolutely against metal then just skip to 2:45

I've posted my preferences so many times, but here's [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaxglwiGYQ0&feature=PlayList&p=EC31095B94C3971F&index=0&playnext=1] something different that I love.

Watch the entire playlist, they're all great. Phil Collins is amazing and a really brilliant drummer too :)

EDIT: Plus, another great playlist. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSVlfat4Jqg&videos=bOtPcU4RHTM&playnext_from=TL&playnext=1] All of these are great even though they're all different versions of the same song. This is what first got me into anime, only a few short months ago, and I have to say, it was well worth it :)

Good eh? Not my all time favorite but I felt if I posted "Somewhere Beyond the Sea" it would be way too obvious.

Theme to 'Treasure Planet', one of my favorite songs overall. Beautiful.

"The Whale" by the Electric Light Orchestra.

It's an instrumental that is absolutely gorgeous, and was written after Jeff Lynne watched a documentary on The killing of Whales.

Yes. Yes, yes, yes.
It has got to be her most beautiful song.

Also, Crazy child by Billy Joel.

Hmm. If we're talking classics, I have to say Toccata and Fugue in D minor by Bach.

doesn't a song need words?

i was under the impression that that was the difference between music and a song.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Dracula.

Why do they always play that song in Vampire-movies?

I nominate none other than the end song to the magnificent masterpiece Dragonheart, the song "To
The Stars" by Randy Edelman. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTKSUlMbp9A

sweet another Phil Collins fan! lately I just can't stop listening to his song "That's All"

But if I must choose songs that have lyrics, then it is a toss-up between "Imagine" by John Lennon, "Amazing" by Aerosmith, and "Something To Believe In" by Poison. Those last two songs really helped me through some dark times. Though I have to say, while not necessarily "beautiful" "Home Sweet Home" by Motley Crew is an awesome song and one of my favorites.

Well I might be bending the definition of 'song', but I love this:

But I'd have to say one of the most beautiful songs I've heard is this one:
