UNIX runs on half seconds, when AOL forward dated their PC's past the 2038 the systems crashed, its hard wired into the software, it can't be stopped and all that legacy crap we use keep adding to the problem

Time is a counting system with rules as to what denotes what, why the fuck did they make computers think time was "half seconds since"? instead of, this number of half seconds equals this number of seconds equals this number of minutes = hours = day = years

that is a fucked up programing error, computers can count, we all know that, jeez.

Thats the point, in order to make calculation the computer needs to know time, in creating that within the software that timer will one day reach the end point because it can go no further.
