The End in MGS 3, just don't play for a week and he dies of old age. Ofcourse you don't get any kick ass camo but it was the most unintentionally easy boss fight ever, all I did was go on holiday.

Oblivion/Fallout.

When your target's taken out by a Fatman/Alien Gun/Terrible Shotgun etc.
i don't recall either of those games having an enemy who qualifies to be called a "boss" =(
People refer To Colonel August as a boss in Fallout 3 although I personally don't call him a boss. All I did was zap him with the alien blaster and he was gone.

This is the cheap-kill way of doing it, but in Demon's Souls, for the hardest boss in the game (False King Allant), put the Thief's Ring and the Fragrant Ring on (and, if you have it, equip the Phosphorescent Pole), hide behind the right or left wall's in the starting area of the boss area, wait for him to walk towards you, than turn around and stand there. Walk (WALK! DO NOT RUN!) up the stairs, stay at the part where the stairs level out, lock on, cast poison. Wait until it runs out. Repeat. It'll take about 20-25 minutes, but you can do the entire battle without moving.

I've done it twice: The second "Holy Shit this is hard" playthrough, and the fifth playthrough because I felt like doing other stuff at the same time. The 1st, 3rd, and 4th I actuaslly fought him.

Prince of Persia(2d). When fighting your shadow, all you have to do to beat it is hug it. I wish I was joking.

We've all been in one. A boss battle were the solution to the bosses defeat was so simple that it made you laugh. For me it was the Metroid Hatchers in Metroid Prime 3. Once you had X-ray vision and the Nova beam you could kill them simply by switching on the visor and firing one shot into there weak point. What was your easy boss solution and what game was the boss from.
Hate to say it, but your fave games are the ones you notice the flaws in all the more... the last level of System Shock 2.

If you have three ice-picks and an EMP-grenade launcher / assault rifle, you can do it in fourteen seconds. I've timed it.

Castle Vania just spam fire at Dracula you could do it with your eyes closed. A terrible oversight by the game makers.

fable 2 last "boss"
/thread

Edit: solutions
A: 1 shot him
B: do nothing and have your team mate 1 shot him after a few seconds
Somehow I don't see this as a thread ender.

It is an opinion thread where descriptions of varying experience were invited.

OP:

A flash game, actually.

You fought with a flying machine where you could align yourself to different attacks or elements.

The final boss was a dodgy bastard, but if you chose the attacks that filled an entire screen full of boss hating, lightning fast, heat seeking death, then he would be defeated without breaking a sweat.

You are?

You don't fucking hug it. And it is NOT even a boss because you don't even fucking even fight him.

Get your facts straight.

Easily the flash game, "You have to burn the rope"

Seriously go play it. The entire game is 3 minutes tops. Hilarious.

Breath of Fire 3? The final boss gives you two options: Fight her, or decide that actually she's pretty much right and you're sorry you bothered her. You have to sit through about 10 minutes of dialogue to get to the choice though. so it takes some patience to see both endings. It ain't worth bothering with.

I'll take something more original then.

Final boss in Saints Row 2.

All it took was one single shot from my RPG and he was dead.
I know, I was expecting the boss fight to be filled with plenty of deaths and loading saves. But nope, just a few shots with the RPG and he was dead. That was really disappointing.

Anyways, I'm going with Saint's Row 2 aswell.
