Our beutiful world is full of some amazingly horrible dieases, ilnesses and maladies. There are viruses, and parasites, and injuries and fungi and madness of all kinds. You will never run out of nightmares here.

But what is, in your opinion, THE most horrible disease there is?
Cancer? Altzheimer's? Paralysis? Some terrifying genetic deformity?

Syphillis. It would be a total killer for your social life. If you've got something like cancer, everybodys gonna be all like "Oh you poor thing...!" but if you've got syphillis, it's a) your own fault and b) really nasty. Everybody would just avoid you and if you bring it up, instead of feeling sorry they'll just think you're a perverse idiot who should've watched his penis/her vagina better. And then there's the actual disease itself of course, ouch.

Worse is the fact that you begin to forget people you knew and loved for the last 30-50 years. You also become stupider with every passing day, as your braincells are dying. Finally, your brain dies... Thank God that at least death isn't as painful as in other terminal diseases.

I had swine flu, it was fairly pansy in my case...

Now although its not technically a 'disease', the venom from a snake in the Amazon [citation needed] actually slowly melts all of your muscles, until you can no longer do anything at all but suffocate...
But mmm, not sure thats exactly a disease though, but I tried my hardest, trust me

Actually, syphilis can be caught in utero. It's belived that Al Capone's mother had it and passed it through to him in the womb, which caused his mental deteriation in later life. But it is a very nasty diease.

HIV/Aids easily, you die a slow painful death and it's really easy to obtain, I have two friends who currently suffer from HIV so they still have a very slim chance, but the other two have aids and they're gone
