Spider Man 2, when you fight Mysterio in the store. He's talking all big and has 6 full health bars, he goes down in hit.
I knew someone would say that! Yeah, that fight was so easy. There's all this build up, and then he gets this MASSIVE health bar, and you just punch him in the face, once, and you win. Stupid Mysterio.

one of my first times in WOW, being the impatiant noob i was i got to level ten (oh yeah as a blood elf) and decided to have a run around the shdaow realm...or dark realm or whatever its called...basicly its a land plauged by evil...

now being only a level ten i had to be carefull of monsters, my friend had told me that monsters rarley come onto the paths so i should be fine as long as i didnt stray of the path...

after running for about twenty minuits i stopped to have a little look through my inventory, maby chuck away some usuless stuff...after sifting through my inventory i heard a massive bellow of rage behind me, i turned the camera only to see a humongous level thirty giant running towards me...he was basicly a giant version of those fat fuckers that guard the undead city, after casting a hasty fireball (for what reason im not entierly sure) i turned and ran, i was inevitably caught and killed in one hit....

my friend came back into the room and said "oh be careful theres a giant that walks up and down that path", he stopped and smirked before saying "never mind"

....excuse my terrible WOW knowledge

LOL, usually its always the other way around when I play an RPG, then again I power game like nothing else.

In almost RPG I've played theyre is always at least one boss battle that I will run into where I feel like I have a good chance of winning but then get dominated horribly and make me rage quit

Grandia III is the most recent I can remember
Playing the first boss battle (Hydra) in god of war 1 on god/olympian difficulty...
despite not taking a single hit and landing a minimum of a 7 hit combo at every opening the fight still takes something like 15 minutes.

but being on the losing side: nothing beat being the last man standing in Gmod Zombie Survival maps... You Versus 7 PC Zombies and and endless supply og AI zombies... you will die... its just a matter of time!

RTW:

It got to that stage in the campaign when you are forced to take on the senate when they declare war on you. Believing that the Senate would be uber hard to beat, i switch over my entire economy to war production, churning out two large and modern armies within 5 turns.

I position my armies strategically, wait for the onslaught but nothing happens. Curious, I send spies to Rome, find out that they havn't upgraded their armies since the beginning of the game.

Almost laughing, my armies plough through the Senate's army in a glorious massacre, and then i capture Rome. Easiest part of the game really, strangely enough.

Edit: Also, when your bored it's pretty fun to set a huge army of elephants against a huge army of peasants as they cross a bridge...

The white Fatalis in Monster Hunter Freedom 2. That thing can insta-kill you with every attack, one of which includes flying up into the air and raining lightning down on the whole map at once. It also has enough health that unless you have a whole team where everyone has top quality weapons and the skill to evade the damned lizard, you will not be able to kill it.

The first time you fight Yunalesca in FFX.

"Oh I'm zombified, huh? Better use a Holy Water, then..."

several turns later

Mega-Death -> Entire Party Dies -> Turn off game.

seriously, whoever designed that boss should be punched in the stomach. with a bullet train.
I could never get past that boss and after almost breaking my controller in frustration, I finally gave up.
OT: the tower of lost souls in SC4 was possibly the hardest thing I've played in any game, slanted (obviously) in the enemies favor to say the least.
i beat it after almost breaking my controller, and looking a walkthrough. the answer? spam the whipfist. huh.

btw, the final boss is sooo much easier. elizabeth is totally worst boss in existence.

Not reading all 150 comments, but the Grey Prince from Oblivion. Seems pretty obvious. The guy asked you to kill him. I tried to find a way out of the fight, but had no choice but to kill him.
yeah...but its a free way into the dark brotherhood with out the guards managing to pinpoint your exact spot and arrest you

When I was minion in TW2 I couldn't stop laughing my enemies were getting crumpled like soda cans.

A one sided fight against me was when I went up against 12 chocobo's in FFT all types of them I was pecked, metored, and pelleted to death I couldn't kill one they kept healing.
yeah the chocobos are really cheap

Your very first mission in S.T.A.L.K.E.R: "Go over to the village and take out the dozen shotgun toting bandits that set up camp there, oh here- take this pea-shooter, maybe you can frighten them away with 'pew-pew' noises".

And then of course- I like taking said pea-shooter and raiding the military base instead with the 20-odd very well armed army personnel. That one I do by choice because I'm batshit insane, and love getting good equipment early on.
