Fallout 3: Point Lookout: Toy knife.

Come one, really, what's the point? Hmm... Lets put the game's worst weapon in the 4th DLC.

There will never be a weapon more pathetic than the bubble gun from Earthworm Jim 2.
Haha, I forgot that one. :)

Having said that, Bob the killer goldfish didn't do anything either, and was one of the most awesome bosses ever created in a game...

I'd go for the goo gun in "Mick and Mack". (I've posted about that game before in the "most irritating kids" thread, but it's bad enough that it deserves mention here as well.)

I know it's pretty obscure, but anyone tried to use a bow in Mount&Blade? I'm pretty good at shooting things in games, but I couldn't even hit a horse with that shit.
This.

Any weapon in BF: Bad Company that doesnt have a grenade launcher attached to it. Best weapon in that game is the screwdriver.
Agreed. Except the M16. That gun could land headshots, and it was the only gun whos bullets did anything.

I'll also say the starting handgun in fallout 3 and the plasma pistol in halo(s).
Dont be dissin the Plasma Pistol. For the Original xbox, I had a Turbo controller, that with the plasma pistol made it my favorite weapon on Legendary. the Green bullets of death coming out of that thing would tear through an elite's shield in 1 second on legendary.
I never used iot on original xbox, only 2 and 3. :\ Probably why.
I'd have to disagree; a charged shot can take out shields in one hit and cut out the engine of a vehicle. Hilarious on banshees in multiplayer, as they almost invariably kill someone (sometimes themselves) in their desperate attempt to get moving before they die horribly.

The arc weilder in red faction guerilla. It's pathetically weak, sure it can kill 3 enemies at once but you have to get close to them for it to have any effect.
Honestly, I didn't bother with it myself, but I think it's worth it as it disables enemies while it damages them and it can kill people driving vehicles without doing major damage to the vehicle itself.

The bee hive turret thing in Ratchet and Clank Size Matters because it is short range and doesn't do nearly enough damage. If you like it, fine, but I found it pointless.

I actually quite like most pistols in games, they fire quite acurate, with decent rate of fire, sure they don't do a lot of damage, but I go for headshots most of the time anyway.

and for me worst weapon ever is every weapon other than a HMG in GRAW1, those bullethoses difine overpowered weaponry.

hmmm how about...

Sir Daniel Fortesque's Arm

KUDOS and Puppies to anyone who gets that reference and which game
Ahh Medieval...classic and yea the arm was freaking pathetic in it. Even worse was that healing vial thing - takes your health off to heal a bunch of soldiers and leave you low on health for boss fight or save stupid innocents in the 2nd game.

Magikarp in Pokemon, if that counts as a "weapon".

Splash is the single most useless move in the history of gaming.

Funny, even the thread I linked is a repeat thread. Shows how many times this thread has been made.

Anyways, the .32 revolver from Fallout 3 sucked back then and it still sucks now.
It sucked more than it should have...
That's a pretty powerful handgun.
