...Well every forum seems to have one in some shape or form and I'm doubtful the entirety of the Escapist Forums population is composed of egomaniacs.

Basically if you wanna talk about getting your bf/gf a gift, your love troubles and all things about romance and relationships then just post it here for simplicity's sake, cause he needs the job.

Ok just to get this thread rolling, what are some of the things you find attractive in women or men

It's not official unless a mod sanctions it, but I think this would be a good idea if only to filter out the endless relationship threads. As entertaining as they are.

Although, the starting topic is one that has been done a hundred times over.

I just realized I hadn't posted anything. Physically things like hair or height don't really bother though I have a weakness for hips and blue eyes.
Personality-wise humor and intelligence. Show me a girl who can talk about nanotechnology with as much enthusiasm as me and I'll die a happy man

An active personality and a talkative nature. I would like to be able to debate with her about anything and everything. Also a tad mental, I tend to feed off people's personas when I interact with them, but There is no denying that I'm off my frickin trolley.

Everything else I'm flexible on, but i do have a penchant for brunettes.

Anyway, It's impossible to find at my age, since most girls are one or the other, y'know. I like eyes, and brunettes. I dunno, blondes just seem too... compliant? I mean, it's almost special for a girl to have brown hair now, what with dies and all. Plus it makes a better 'frame' around the face.

I don't like girls who say "like" every fourth syllable or just speak stereotypically. I like them a bit weird, or at least understanding, so that I don't freak them out. They need to know about the world outside their damn clique.

Politics, Science, Conversation, and Looks. But Y'know, if you're smitten...

I agree with you. I'd like intelligent girls, too. I don't really care what she looks like perse, but I just have a weakness for blond hair and blue eyes. Must be the German in me.

I'm kind of different. Looks are very important, and as long as they're a genuinely nice and well-meaning person, I don't mind about personality.
