The problem is that if a person could get as powerful as the protagonist in Force Unleashed or Yoda in Episode 2, it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't.gmaverick019 said:i always thought the movies were flawed, they could always get stronger with the force, as they showed through the movies, so i dont see how someone cant, that was unrestricted by the jedi order, become that powerful? i mean it makes logical sense with how the force is described and whatnot so i always thought that a game like the force unleashed would be released someday.Quaxar said:Yep... one-week rendered Blizzard trailers are nothing compared to that package of awesome.
Although I don't like how Jedis are growing exponentially stronger with every Star Wars game. Remember the Jedi Knight series? You spent half of the second one with only guns. A short time ago we had The Force Unleashed where the little guy blows a hall apart like it's nothing.
However, the Old Republic trailer made me wet my pants nevertheless.
I get that those two characters are special, but are we to believe that in episodes 4-6 nobody was anywhere near as powerful as they were just decades ago? For gods sake, in Episode 5, Luke can barely pull his damn light-saber out of some ice on Hoth.
It's just an inconsistency, and it creates balancing issues, could you imagine if every jedi/sith were as powerful as the Force Unleashed guy? A 50 on 50 battle would literally destroy the fucking universe.
