I'm tired of seeing the spastic ramblings of people (teens in particular) pontificating, and aggrandizing psudo-enlightenment bullshit from drunken (or stoned, or just whenever) epiphanies. Sorry to be the one to bring the bad news, but chances are far greater that the enlightenment you feel about that epiphany you just had probably isn't as world shattering as you think it is. Just a little food for thought in return to contribute to your discussion. Don't forget that Role-Playing Games and Role-Playing Video Games actually are defined very differently. A video game can't account for all possible actions a human in a traditional RPG could come up with, so the definitions have to change a little. Designing your character and making choices can certainly be a part of it, but it is far from required, thus removing the main argument those who argue against JRPG's present.

The IMVU ads.
The f&*%ing IMVU ads depicting 3D people having intercourse with each other while being dressed like characters from Avatar, Twilight and Jersey Shore. I find them in websites like Wikia, Cheezburger.com, fanfiction.com and any other place on the internet where kids are most likely to be around.
It's shameful and sick. Can't I have an internet where every single corner is not plagued by 3D badly rendered figures making out?

Why is it that Anime fans defend anime, without accepting any sort of criticism from anyone...ever. There are flaws in anime just like in everything else and people are going to bash them just because of that. Because that's what people do.
