The one thing you're the biggest fanboy (or girl) of... and why?

Sam & Max. A Loonatic's Tale (a webcomic made by a friend of mine. No, I'm not biased at all, what are you talking about?). And this is going to be the weird one: There's a particular character type I have a real soft spot for. The best way I can describe it is thus: Think of a show or a book or what have you. Think of the character that's super-nice and wants everyone to get along. Now, ask yourself how their friends would take it if you made them cry; shouted at them, repossessed their home, however you wanna do it. If the answer is "they would mark you for death", you have found one of these characters I so dearly love.

Finally, this probably doesn't quite count insofar as the topic goes, but I've seen MGS a couple times in this topic, and I just wanted to mention that I'm the guy someone mentioned who takes it to a creepy level. There's a part of me that wants to be Solid Snake in exactly the same way that Dr. McNinja wants to be Batman.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I've completely memorized almost every episode, I know obscure facts like Buffy's street address(that was only spoken out loud once), I know the names and details of more Buffy-verse demons than most of the Scooby gang, and... yeah. I'm obsessed with it. My friends and I have made a drinking game for the musical episode. We've all seen it so much that it's become our Rocky Horror.

My friends also often challenge me to the Buffy game that they made up to try and stump me. They name a word, any word, as long as it's not a proper noun, a kind of species, or a name of a technology that was invented after Buffy aired, and I have to turn it into a Buffy reference.

I have never lost.

YES! I am so right there with you. That show got me through puberty with the sense and strength to take all the crap and drama not seriously.

My final tattoo I got was of a Kladgah on my shoulder blades as a semi less obvious reference to the best of shows.

I also should add any game of Bioware (yes even DA 2 because while for them it sucked I have played through twice already) and any TV series Joss Whedon has made. My husband can tell when I've watched it because I fall into Buffy speak a bit.

I'm not the only one? YAY! Yeah, the show was still airing while I was in High School, so... yeah. It helped a LOT. Ha, I already have two tattoos, neither of which are fandom-based, but now I'm kinda tempted... My friend already has a Bad Wolf tattoo from Doctor Who, after all. xD

And yeah, my friends and I have pretty much resigned ourselves to the fact that Buffy-speak has wormed its way permanently into our vocabularies. I knew that the conversion of one of my friends to a Whedon fan had finally happened when, without noticing it, he said, "Some snackage right now would definitely be of the good."

I wouldn't say 'biggest fan' of but I'll be damned if I don't fucking love Starship Troopers. I remain adamant that it's responsible for a great portion of military science fiction and always will.

I like it for being the first place I ever heard the phrase "tactical nuke". ^_^

Anything at all to do with warhammer be it 40k or warhammer. I have played every single game they have made and the mmo despite its many flaws and though being a big let down for many people is still quite dear to me. I'm even thinking of re-subbing to it for a bit and going shtomping.

While not being a huge art fan artwork, warhammer is an exception is an of mine, people employed by gamesworkshop can truly run riot with all the lore at their disposal and have even done some ridculous pieces such as guys hanging out of tanks with swords etc hehe

The bookshelf in my room is creaking under the weight of many texts published by the black library (gamesworkshop's publisher) and collection continues to grow.

The video game Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. I didn't even know English when I started playing it at the age of 7, so that was quite the challenge. I was pretty obsessed with Full Throttle too. I only discovered the Monkey Island series when MI4 came out on the PS2. it's by far the worst of the series but I liked it when I was young and foolish.

I'm a fan of quite a lot of things, but i think i truly am a fanboy of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. It's an anime, and it's the best god-damn anything ever.
Every time i watch it i get shivers, because i can't stand how epic and awesome it is. It is truly my nr 1. thingy. Love it.
And i guess I may be bit of a BioWare fanboy, though that is just because of Mass Effect 1.

I know everything about every episode of Futurama up until the last film. (waiting for the new series to come out as DVDs to watch them to death).
Almost everything related to Star Wars. I've got the video games, I've got some books, a lightsaber and gigantic knowledge about the EU.
And finally H.P. Lovecraft's work. I only miss very few books to complete my collection.

Bon Jovi. I am a die-hard.

I own pretty much the entire back-catalogue, had my mother buy me a Greatest Hits edition hoodie for my 24th, have a necklace made from the guitar-string off Richie Sambora's guitar (that I NEVER take off and yes, it came with an authenticity certificate) and am heading overseas to see them play in Dublin in June. To cap it all off, in a month or so, I'll be going for my first tattoo... of the heart and dagger design off the Greatest Hits CD cover.

Why?

I guess I really found out who they were when I was twelve and fell in love with 'It's My Life'. It steam-rolled from there (and that song remains my favourite to this day). I was lucky enough to see them play last year and it was so incredibly worth it. Jon is amazing on-stage and Richie is a GOD on a guitar. Truly. Add to that David Bryan's mastery of the keyboards (the man wrote Memphis the musical, for crying out loud!) and Tico Torres' damn awesome drumming... yeah, I'm a Jovi fangirl. Lost my heart and soul to them. Though I do think Hugh Mcdonald is a much better bassist than Alec John Such.
