Sorry but I couldn't resist you set me up for that one. To stay on topic, people from my grandparents generation who act like they know absolutely everything because they have more "experience". (which is their favorite word by the way) You know what I think? I think that the experience they have is completely useless for today's day and age, am I going to fail at life if I don't know how to tune a 1930's short-wave radio? No I think not. The same also applies to canning, cooking, cleaning, and horse riding techniques. Welcome to the new world old people! So many people seem like they want our world to end within the next few years. When it gets to 2012 and nothing happens, they'll go 'Oh, no, actually a secret code has been found in the Quran saying the world will end in 2016'. Also piercings.

In an attempt not to get into an argument, I'll just say this. The swine flu is just the very next thing on the long list of stories the media blows out of proportion and then disappears as quickly as it comes up. Same thing with killer bees. Never stopped hearing about killer bees in the news when I was a kid. The way the media blew it up you'd think that every house would have six nests in the attic and we'd all have to leave the house in bee keeper outfits.Fraser.J.A said:
